Valuable items with economic value should be distributed in-game.

Like the Moa Chick mini.

Anything gained via magazines and such should have NO economic value.

My guild leader won a naga raincaller with this contest..

seems i got nothing ah well, kinda used to that
(kinda ironic because i told our guild leader the answer and he just tried it )

how did they do it BTW trough E-mail or just a letter in the mail.

Letter through the mail.
You get a letter & a wrapping with a plastic card in it, displaying the mini you won with code & instruction on the backside.

I'd rather have nothing than having to buy a magazine just to enter a competition and ending up with nothing except a magazine I don't want and less money.

Which, incidentally, is why I didn't buy the magazine. I entered magazine-less on behalf of a guildie who bought one though. I think he had about 8 guys entering with the info from his magazine. Didn't help, no one got one.
