How do you think people are going to react if you add something the players hate to something the players enjoy?

In RA last night I capped and held the center shrine the entire round with my W/Rit farming build.
It would be much more fun to play GvG maps in RA. This would get more people accustomed to playing GvG which is where the real pvp is at in Guildwars if ya ask me.
A-Net should take notes from the game TeamFortress if they really want to learn how to make capture-the-flag fun.

I never complained before, but seriously Anet, what a fux? Keep your shitty HB out of RA/TA. It's epic fail. And if you want more people in TA/RA, just increase rewards. I mean, yeah, you get glad points, but in HA you get fame points for EVERY win, while here you only get it on every 5 wins. So maybe scale glad title or add some rewards that are viable in PvE.

QFT if anything they should remove all HB maps and just use TA and RA maps (Sans the one with the lava...)

I agree. OMG this is the 6v6 HA update with a double fame weekend all over again. A.net is going to see the popularity of RA/TA this weekend, assume its because of the new HB maps, and then keep them for a year until they realize it was a mistake.

Instead of playing TA/RA I'd rather play AB/PvE this weekend...
1. shitty "new" maps in RA/TA
2. double glad points = three times more retards

Please Anet, make it separate things, I loved the Arenas as they were before, don't mix the 2 things plz... The maps are ok, but cap sistem is crap and it takes too many time to finish a match... This is a mini Ab and we dont need it.

Why do I always get the feeling: The more we disagree with something, the more AneT will be inclined to keep it and the more new players will love it? It has happened so far to the majority of updates...
I.E.: DHex, /report, Text Fade, Loot Scaling, Nerf Bats, Paragon-Obsoletion, etc...

I totally agree with this. If I ever play RA, its to try and kill other players plain and simple. If I want to do something that requires a little more skill, I'll AB. There is no point to the shrines here. Keep the maps, they're nice to play on, and its good to have a bit of variation. Just remove the activity of the shrines.

Well paragons were overpowered, and they did change the text fade slightly. And the /report thing was actually DEMANDED by players and was a 50/50 split over /signed, /notsigned. Most of the people who didn't like it just had misconceptions about it (like thinking getting reported multiple times would mean you'd be banned, when a.net still investigates every report with a real person).
But yeah, a.net still seems to have gotten out of touch.

Thanks, but could you clarify exactly why these maps were included in the first place? It just doesn't make any sense given how horribly imbalanced HB currently is. Please tell them that they should ask the community for their opinion next time before they implement a change like this.

Text fade should be purged completely or made a togglable switch. I do not like the /report function, and I assure you that it's not for fear of being perm-banned (because I knew it was automated and Anet saw it coming that tons of players would abuse the function to the point of simply overlooking the vast majority of them). Rather, it's the waste of time that it inherently causes. Other malicious players who don't give a hoot about titles or winning dance upon those that feel this way. Sadly, they have it their way, the way of the "non-gladiator". I mean, really... What's the purpose of RA if not to win and gain gladiator points? I know alot of people will flame on me for expressing my thoughts and tell me that if I want the right team, go to TA. However, I'm tired of getting wiped by syncers; the only way to even stand a chance is to beat them at their own and "sync" as well.
Ergo, /report + DHex + Loot Scaling + Nerf Bats = Miserable Failure/ GWars Community...
Andrew Patrick: Please send my feedback to the Developers and ask them to seriously consider withdrawing (or modifying) the above. It'd be a HUGE step in the right direction.
