My friend also plays the game and he was at my place one day, so we logged into our accounts and just messed around. But (for security) i have a key/actionlogger on my PC and it recorded his password

Sold A Zho Book to someone who was persuaded he could get a minimoa with it.

He then contacted me that he couldn't get the incubator since the book was customized for me. He offered me the gold and materials to buy it, but since the incubator is also customized, I had to keep it.

I told him I would help him, that I already have a minimoa (which was true), he just had to get all the mats, I would create his minipet and then give it to him.

He went on his wild hunt of materials nonstop to get his minimoa, he then gave me them all, I kept the minimoa and sold it.

About a year ago I was looking for a hand axe, so this guy whispers me saying he has a req. 8 hand axe. I look at it and it's a req. 8 15^50 20/20 (when they were worth something) and +30. I asked him how much and he responded saying 90. Trade was open and I submit 90 gold just to be a smart ass because he didn't say 90 gold or plat. He accepts the offer, lol, and the trade window was open for sometime. So I had this nice axe and we both said ty and went our ways. He whispers me about 5 minutes later and all he says is "lol". If he had said anything else I would've traded him back, gave me a good laugh and apparently he found it funny also.

Did I PUG with you yesterday?

- Somehow a Wa/Mo got into the PUG I joined and he did the above several times in a row. When we finally got zoned back to town he rage quit, and with the replacement player we got through with ease.

Funny how you can usually handle any mob of critters as long as you take them one mob at a time, rather than every mob in the mini-map all at once like Wa/Mo's like to do.

Recently in Nahpuil Quarter on my Wa/R going from Kuonghsang to Tahmu and again from there to Hai Jii I led the group in the wrong direction twice. Somebody was doing all kinds of clicking and circle / line drawing in the mini map, but it didn't make any sense to me so I just kept going and the group followed me rather than say anything in chat.

Recently on that same warrior I accidentally applied two non-stacking vigor runes (major and minor) and ended up having to salvage one of the two pieces of armor - only to realize I didn't have the mats to buy that armor piece again... But that didn't take too long to fix, just meant I had to buy not only the armor, but all its mats, and inks, all over again...

I was one of the first people to get a mini pig from a lunar fortune (literally got it on the third one i opened) and instantly sold it in Kamadan for 10 ectos. It didn't really seem like a scam till 3 days later when they were 1k each. Thats what you get with new items though

One time I joined this noob pve guild that thought they were really leet at pvp. So I challenge this one guy to a 1v1 fight in the guild hall. Confident that their comrade would win, four people decided to join his team to watch. One of my buddies joined the game on my team to watch, as well. I was playing ele, and my opponent was a W/Mo (naturally). Since I knew he was playing a warrior, I took a lightning spike build, and rolled him without taking a hit. After killing him, I proceeded to summarily execute everyone on their team that had been watching the match (in a good natured way, of course). Either they didn't expect this, or they were indeed total noobs, because I killed all of them

However, it turned out that one of the observers had been a survivor about to get level 3, but was taking a break to watch the match. Oh how I laughed xD.

Needless to say, I got kicked out of the guild.

Urgh I would have kicked you too. But, hey it's not like you knew... And even if you did it's his/her fault since the golden rule of survivor is DON'T GO AFK OR EVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN!

Me? Well I honestly can't really think of anything special. But I remember one time I was getting a run through the desert missions with my warrior (survivor... Go figure) and I could not pay because I had deposited all the gold into my bank just before we started. In haste to prevent the person from thinking I was a scammer I immediately offered to pay double when we got back to town. What I didn't hear is that someone else in the group had already offered to pay my fee for me so we could continue the run. Yeahhhhh... Runner made an extra 6k, methinks since I payed 4k back at the outpost and the runner received 2k from the previous person. This was also when I was poor and had no idea how to farm.

Oh yeah and when I first started farming, I farmed diggings in HM and kept getting gold Dead Swords with great mods... Seeing an incredibly old guru topic of their PC if they were perfect I proceeded to try and sell them for WAY more than their appropriate worth... which is basically nothing these days thanks to over farming. When I found out their actual worth I felt like such a fool.

Oh and one last one... I sold a perfect chaos axe for 10k + 2 crummy golds because I was still somewhat a newb at the time and a friend had just given it to me and told me to sell it to get myself some gold... Urgh...

some guy with a high level character in presearing gave me his account info believing I would help him win a mini rollerbeetle as a friend of mine used two of my spare accts to place in the top 100, I logged onto one and met this guy and after getting his info took all his stuff and deleted his character after a week.

then I would go on that account and pretend to be the 'true' owner of the account and talked about how my friend had been using my account and I don't know anything about what happened with him

subsequently ruined his name on that presearing.com forum which was kinda mean

hmm.. i did that to another account too, I remember stripping an account and deleting all of its characters.. but it was prob in early 06 or late 05 don't even remember where the account info came from..

OH YEAH! that guy nico sharp or something. yeah. got his account info someway or another a few months before factions came out, stripped his account dry but left the characters I believe.

hmm.. what else've I done.. buhuhhhssssss I donno, shit.

got rank 5 commander in hero battles by using a fake /roll - a bunch of characters that would show up in the game as a space to make fake emotes that looked perfect, yeah..

That said, I've made countless gold selling things for more than they were worth. Mostly collector items:
When MMs were crazy: +1 Death magic collector focus for 10k a pop
Unmodded collector bone staff for 8-30k
Fiery Flame Spitters for 1k/2k each. (Sold easily 300+ of these)

But meh, people are happy with their purchases, so it's no real crime.

I got cocky around an ele boss with my warrior which I was hoping to try to get survivor with. I usually play as ranger, so I was taken aback at how quickly the fire damage toasted me. Also, I was curious as to how much damage a flame trap would do when doing the catacombs quest in pre ascalon with my necro. Turns out it was -420 damage, which instantly sent her to hell.

Getting my first ever Droks run, the guy failed 2x but promised it was bad spawns. On the third time he was going well but whilst stood outside Becs waiting, I was wondering why the gate was closed (so it seemed) and trying to figure out what was going on I clicked on the space near the door only to send everyone back in. I had clicked by the gate on the other side oops sorry.

When I logged on an hour later I got in some team with one of the earlier bunch. I remained quiet throughout.

Once, while I was pugging the Iron Mines of Moladune bonus, I noticed that someone didn't pick up a gold item that dropped during one of the massive melees.

Given how long that bonus is, at the end someone wanted to finish the mission. I told them that I wasn't interested, but instead of logging off, I went all the way back to the beginning of the mission and picked up their gold item (since the 10 minute timer expired).

Kind of crappy to do (i.e. instead of letting them know that it dropped), but my warrior still uses that shield to this day...
