I could see all-Mesmer teams easily working for PvE.

Cry of Pain spike anyone? 800 In-The-Area, armour-ignoring damage seems really nasty, a few E-Surges to mop up if needed...

EDIT... Woo, gogo thread necro

A while ago my alliance held a multi profession race of HM hells precipice. Teams comprising of all rangers, monks, ele's warriors and Dervishes all synced while observers watched in Droknars for them to turn up. The Dervishes won pretty convincingly if I recall(this was before perma avatars also).

All mesmer teams have conquered pretty much every area of the game(even some DoA areas in HM), without borrowing too extensivley from other professions or use of PvE skills(IMHO a mesmer using Ursan is'nt a mesmer but an squishier Ursan). For example, back in mid 2006 an all mesmer team cleared fow, with only using 2 skills+hard res from other professions.

With a bit of thought about the build any 'all class' can do anywhere.
Not sure if I can link to GWO, but some examples are here(note the dates btw, things are a lot easier now) http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...d.php?t=409201

If you look through the screenshots forum here you'll see people doing all xxx runs regually. Some I remember was a team of 12 warriors doing the deep, Assasins clearing fow(no shadowform allowed), Paragons, rits and necros. Some all xxx teams are easier(the paragon fow trip could'nt die if it tried - lol) but they have one thing in common, they are a lot of fun.

You are right - the strongest of all 8-man CLASS ONLY profession are the paragons!

Paragons can tear through any 60DP armor class which includes ALL casters.

Paragons have some crazy healing and energy regen shouts. 8-paras chanting together is total nightmare for opposing team.

This VERY neglected class of GW is in fact the best.

Rangers are second.

Eles are third.

Paragons of course take the cake with the fact that shouts can't be removed, range of a bow, and armor not far off from a warrior.

I'm sure we all remember Paraway...

Although, rspike..Mmmmmm

Anyone have a thread necro pic I could use?

By the way Quru, no.

When will there be a consequence [from mods] about THREAD NECROMANCY?!

In the Eternal Blade thread, a screenshot of 6 or more paragons was shown in front of the UW chest.

Nice pic ^^^ I actually have about 200 or so cards from that game in a box somewhere, havent seen the light of day in a few years.

As for the topic of this thread, I think an all war party would do better than most expect. They do have good self heals and a counter for almost every class. Would be an interesting fight between 8 wars and 8 paragons. Knockdowns would be the deciding factor for the wars I think.

Monks would be good.

Zealot's Fire and Retribution would work well. Or maybe mass use of Signet of Judgement + Holy Strike

Sacrifice 5% maximum Health. All of your undead allies are healed for 30...99. You sacrifice an additional 2% maximum Health per minion healed in this way.

18 minion = sac 43% life...
