Besides, everyone knows the biggest shopping day(s) of the year are the last saturday and sunday before christmas.

After the September 11th attacks, the US was heading into a depression. Want to know why the depression never happened then?
Black Friday.
But you are right, it's not the day the most money is spent. It's probably the day where the largest volume of people are out. The days are usually the Saturday before Christmas. I'm wondering if that's starting to change because retailers are pumping out sales earlier than ever to get people to spend earlier.
Also, if anyone lives by a Target in the US: if you find a leaked Black Friday ad, and see something you like. You can buy it today and get a price adjust on Friday and Saturday.

Or instead of paying $9.99 at Best Buy a guy could head over to ebay and pick one up for $0.99. I saw one on there, dunno if I'm allowed to post the link or not.....

Guild Wars for 10 bucks... wow...
I really wish they'd do the same for EotN. XD
IMHO it's a bad idea to buy account-based games off Ebay, cause the guy could have already used the account key.

Could have $9+ shipping, or could've just been a bid.
But I hardly doubt the 2 days before Christmas are actually busier than Black Friday. I can't even imagine if that's possible,

Ya, but what if they have it stated on there that it's still in the original packaging? With the shrink wrap still on it? I'm pretty sure I saw a Factions CE on there for dirt cheap too. When I say "dirt cheap" I mean real cheap, like $10 or so....

Turns out it wasn't a misprint. I didn't pick up a copy because there isn't account linking and I wouldn't have /bonus items on that new account. Plus I'd have to buy the other games. Too much just so I can play a ranger. :\
