I could of got GW:EN cheap at play.com but i bought it for more from the ingame store - Paid for BMP too

There is really no way that you couldn't of used the online store within the dates of the BMP

I think this question boils down to whether you view the BMP as like a festival hat / minipet or as like a mini-expansion.

If you think it's as beneficial as a festival hat / mini-ceratadon, then I would argue not offering it through another means. Those are one-time events that belong to those who chose to participate. Gaile herself has stated several times she thinks event hats should never be re-released.

If you think it's more like a mini-expansion - another Sorrow's Furnace, as Fril said - then I would think Anet should find some way to offer it to others. It's a significant experience that all dedicated Guild Wars players should have.

I personally see it as closer to a mini-expansion. My guess is Anet does, too, and we will see it offered in the store for about $12 in a few months.

I actually find myself oddly disappointed that the skins are so cool and so easy to acquire for those who got the BMP. All I did was order thru the online store, and I was going to do that anyway. All these great weapons make dungeon crawling - something I enjoy - seem a lot less worth the time.

It was availible to [/b]everyone[/b], some people took advantage of the offer, others didn't. Re-selling it would be like (as you stated) giving away the 1st year hats this Wintersday, unfair to the people that already have one.

I don't even know what the whole fight is about. The Guild Wars official page said (quoted from http://www.guildwars.com/products/extras/missionpack/ ):

"For a limited time, when you spend $29 USD (€26/£17) or more in the Guild Wars In-Game Store or through the PlayNC Store, you will get a Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack for free!"

Translates to: If you spend that much money during this period of time, you'll get a "Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack" free.
This implies that *else* you may not get it *free*, it doesn't say you won't be able to get it at all, so just sit back, relax and see what'll happen.

What makes me curious though is that they wrote "a Bonus Mission Pack", not "the Bonus Mission Pack". Are they planning to release more?

I agree, anyone else that has the BMP angry?

Also i think Anet should put all the past "holiday" events for perchase in the store, right next to where you buy the BMP.
Its like an event in that you had a limit (a very big limit) on how long you could gain access to it
I realise i'll now get a "but you now have unlimited access to it so its an expansion not an event" responce but there is really really no reason anyone couldn't of made a perchase from the ingame store, within the time limit

It seems most people who have the BMP believe no one else should have it, while the people who don't have the BMP believe that it should be sold separately. However I have a question for those who don't want it to be sold separately. How does Anet reselling the BMP affect you?

The weapons and books are auto customized so QQing about more people being able to get the weapons are just dumb. All Anet would be doing would be allowing people to delve deeper into the Guild Wars lore.

Also consider that the petition is to sell the BMP separately. This would probably be at say $10-15. The people who already bought the BMP basically got it for free by buying other things for their account. Buying it seperately would actually mean having to spend money on it. Seems like a fair trade-off if you ask me.

I, as your fellow player, am sorry that you could not afford, find a way or otherwise be intelligent about getting and obtaining the Bonus Mission Pack. You had four months to devise a way. FOUR months here, not a week, not a month, but four of them.

Get over your selves, stop trying to bring the rest of us down with you and your 'pity us' party EVERY SINGLE ONE of you have been having who complains!
