You didnt pay 30 bucks for the BMP, you paid 30bucks for everything else and teh BMP was tossed in for free, There is a big difference.

Sorry but your wrong. Some of us bought 3 character slots ONLY to qualify for the BMP. So yeah we did pay 30 bucks only for the BMP

Why?
you could have bought it online. If you wanted the box, then you have the box, end of story. You made a choice to buy that, even thought they advertized way in advance that you could have bought it online and received the BMP. Now you realize it was a bad choice. So why should they change everything for you?
It's a BONUS PROMOTION. Why should they change it to a "GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING JUST CUZ YOU WANT IT"?

So they didn't give you any character slots? Cuz... that's the product you bought.

If it is made available via any other means(manual input code keys) the scammers, thieves and what have ye will reap the rewards, not anet.
I was iffy at first of auto activated keys but the more i see it working, the more i'm starting to see the master plan.

This promotion went on for 4 months. During these 4 months Anet clearly stated that the BMP included 4 new missions and new unique items. For some reason I feel if the BMP turned out to be complete rubbish, the people that didn't qualify for the BMP would be laughing at us right now.

I have the BMP and don't feel that way. I was able to take advantage of the offer that others may have not. If people are allowed to obtain it in an alternate method I would be all for it.

No im not wrong at all, you bought the char slots not the mini pack. Its called a bonus for a reason... You may say im splitting hairs with semantics but im not. Im just telling you what you paid for and that the bonus pack was indeed a bonus and nothing more. If you cant see what im trying to say maybe some one else can be more clear. (i understand what you are saying, the bmp is why i bought gwen online as well instead of B&M)

I agree, and I'll try to back you up:
If the BMP goes on sale by itself for $15 (example), to me, that's a fair price.
After all, I got the BMP and 3 character slots for $30. It doesn't matter if I wanted the slots or not, that's what I got.
So, if someone just gets the BMP only for $15, that seems fair, especially considering they will get it later than me.

I already got the BMP, but I think other people should also be given the opportunity.
Why?
1.) Because many wanted, but had no credit card and stuff like that. The promised improved payment options have not been implemented so far.
2.) It is just cruel.
Yes, it is cruel to ruin the fountain square in Lion's Arch with a historian and his 3 little helpers and show the poor guys who did not get the pack the skins they will NEVER get because the promotion is over.
Just charge them totally overpriced (yes, the BMP is not that much) 10-15 bucks, make some cash this way and those who really need it can still buy it. Plus the online store gets some more reason to exist.

I agree completely with this, people that bought on the online store (whatever they bought) probably wouldn't have done so if the BMP wasnt there. So it's more than reasonable that those who didn't within the promotional period should meet a modest fee.
I just hope to be able to get it in a few weeks once i can get a credit/debit card.

Anet could bring out a special edition of eye of the north in stores that comes with the BMP but there are people that payed over the odds (you gotta admit that the online store is more expensive than high street stores) because it was an online offer only
if they could of gotten a special GWEN with BMP in the stores I'm sure they would have but no they were told it was a limited time only online promotion so payed the silly prices (£24.99) that the online store is asking instead of popping down the high street and picking it up for £15.99 (high street store price is just an example of my local area please don't go flaming me because your area has different prices)
yes the people who bought extra character slots got something for their money besides the BMP but what about the people that bought GWEN when they already had it just to get the BMP?

I had to pay extra, considering GWEN was $10 cheaper at any B&M store and I had to pay the extra amount for the exchange rate @_@

B:You had long enough to get it.
C:You want the box? /sigh why?
D:The QQ isnt funny anymore - stop it.
E:The majority of people have credit cards - why,for online purchasing, not carrying tons of cash around, for the reason of seeing something you like going "Oooh,i like that!" buying it and feeling happy.
F:You had long enough to get it.(i repeat!!)
G:It started when the new weapons came out
H:It's called "Promotion" for a reason,to use the online store.
See where im coming from?
Welcome to Life:Life isn't fair.
EDIT:also, character slots can be used for PvP characters so less rerolling

It was a promotion for the online store, and the extra money A-net saved on not having to pay the retailers 50% of the store price, paid for the BMP.
This was a experiment to see how to distrubute GW2, and those who used the online store got rewarded.
It was there for everyone too get.

Actually, they didn't promise anything but they did, in fact, add more payment methods during that time.

This is the reason that I say /notsigned
if people can't get over the fact that not everything goes their way, they are in for a shock called life. You can't use "it makes me feel sad because I can't have what I want" as an excuse to just get things.
If they make the BMP $15 in the online store that might not be a bad price but the whole point of having a limited time period is to make it special. That's why I can't get a Tengu mask, or some people can't get a pumpkin crown. They missed it, oh well. Why can't ANET make special things that are limited? Why?
