that's why, now, Anet have to sell it, that's how it can be free in the first place, when it is offer for free as a bonus to use the online store, if anet don't sell it now, i'll be very angry and think what i pay is actually for the BMP and that it is not free, if Anet don't sell it now, it cannot be call a free bonus at all. have you noticed that ALMOST all the whines to put it in the online store started the moment the first screenshots went up?

the subject was skins not the story

all those people here (and other sites) are instantly yelling put it in the store so i can buy it.

this only proves that MOST of the i couldnt get it claims were really i thought it would be crap or real cheap later so i will pass on the promotion.

that doesn't not change the fact that the bonus mission pack, is a free bonus to the players who have faith in Anet, we got the bonus pack free, because we have faith in Anet to come up with a good product.

and that also does not change the fact that Anet are entitled to earn their living, pay their wonderful designer, game designer, producers erm, okay to cut short, the entire staffs need to eat. :P and the company need to stay afloat.

and it also does not change the fact that the bonus mission pack isn't a "limited edition product", its a "time limit promotion"

Let me put it this way, if they are going to sell it separate from the rest they should also put all the preorder items from prophesies till GW:EN into the online store.
I got myself qualified for it but IMO it whas a waste of a good 26 euro's
i rather bought me 2/3 kegs of beer for it. ^^

i have the BMP and paid 11 and pocket change extra as well as skipping the box because Gaile said it would be good.

Started early November though, and it was not the first thread to feature complaints. I'm not (currently) accusing anyone of lying, though if I go through those earlier threads and see the inventors of the "it's all about the skins" argument participating in these same debates - then I will.

I would buy it, but guess what? I'm still not that modern to buy through e-stores and I still like buying games in boxes, so I can collect them.

Oh, and I have crappy credit card - I can't transfer my native value (Polski Zloty) into USD, euro or any other value. So I would buy BMP if I could use my country's money.

Yes Loviatar, you are correct in all that you have said, there's no dispute there, but you fail to see when the promotion is over, these missions that is a bonus to the loyal fans of Guild Wars won't be bonus mission pack anymore, they will also not be free anymore, because they will have become a regular mission pack, for sale or not, is up to Arena Net. and it will be good to see Arena Net selling them.

Ok wait wait wait. Let me get this straight. You say that people have been wanting the BMP to be sold separately in the store for months now...Umm I thought it was. You buy 30 bucks of stuff in the store and you get the BMP. It could be argued that you purchased the BMP and got whatever the 30 bucks was for free, whatever floats your boat.

I'm not arguing semantics, I'm talking facts you are trying to say BMP is free so you can get a handout and maybe ANET will just give it to you. Which fails miserably. Now that the BMP is out people (again, like me) are whining because we too want the cool skins that we'll never get.

Whine, whine - you can't get more god-awful ugly skins for your weapons. Boo-freakin-hoo!

You also can't get the woowee zowee graphic effects and skins from the Collector's Editions - or the special bonus goodies offered in other countries, etc,etc,etc, ad infinitum - get over it!

Oh, and to answer the Ops question - I have no idea why so many people regret getting it. It's not that big a deal. you do a few solo quests and get some different skinned weapons, most of which, with perhaps the exception of the Tengu, are ugly in my opinion.

When the next little bonus thing comes up people will be going gaga over the next group of skins.....

Lol! I must admit, seeing what the BMP is about I probably would have purchased Factions and/or GW:EN online. I did not buy them yet because I found them too expensive and the prices are dropping rapidly in 'real' stores. But the BMP is a nice little gadget and yes, if I had known this before I probably would have bought something online.
But, as statet numerous times, too late! I guess I continue to wait for the salez season.
