Very nice weapons there, really like the Tengu staff. Shame I won't get one, never been a fan of electronic purchases always prefer the boxed versions if they are available. If Arenanet makes the pack available via the on-line store for a small fee I would probably pick it up.

Ah, I never bought anything from the online store, which is a shame. The weapons are gorgeous.
However, I asked a real life friend if I could try it out, and my oh my. The missions were indeed fun - shame there's no actual voice acting in the cutscenes. I mean, they have become a little bit better with the voices since Prophecies at least.

I wasn't able to buy anything in the online store since I already ordered and payed for GWEN at one of my local retailers, someone was buying it for me, I prefer boxed version and the fact that I lack a credit card were pretty lame for me.
Now I regret that I didn't purchase random crap to get the BMP,
TBH, your last comment is simply retarded, calling people that couldn't get the BMP unloyal to ANet.

Fair enough but are you to suggest people who go out to the shops or buy from an online retailer because they prefer the box, disc, manual etc are not loyal? I have been playing for over two years have all three campaigns with the Factions and Nightfall Collectors editions and of course the boxed version of Eye of the North. I would of bought the Prophecies CE but never new much about Guild Wars when I picked the first one up, just an RPG I thought I would try.
I not complaining I don't have the bonus mission pack, I'm fine without it but perhaps its something Arenanet might want to consider at some stage in the future. There are plenty of fans and loyal players who didn't use the online store for various reasons.
Just my view not going to say anything more on the matter apart from nice job on the new weapons!

I'd consider myself a loyal customer, however i have no way of buying things from the online store, neither do most of the people in my guild, and 90% of them have every campaign. I think you should define Loyal as those with credit cards or another way of paying through the online store.
Also, as much as I doubt they will, Anet would gain a lot from making it available, there are plenty of people willing to pay for it and there's little if anything needing done to make it commercially available. For them it's easy money.
Also, gg anet on the weps, they're very impressive! Shame you couldn't have included them on something people paid for (i recognise Anet get more money by people buying EotN from the Online Store but come on).

I would just like to point some things out.
NO ONE said it won't be available for purchase at a later date.
WE didn't pay $30 for the BmP. It was free.
I see the kids are coveting the skins more than the game/play. lol how surprising! for me, it's game....not skins.

Ok if i sounded that people who bought from retail stores are not loyal im sorry. I didnt mean to come across like that (kind of tired and after re-reading my post it does sound like that ). just meant that ANET decided to reward the people who bought through the online store/ supported the online store. sorry if i wasnt too clear. my mistake.
sorry. Good Job ANET on the BMP. love it

If you didn't buy stuff (eg. GW:EN) from the online store - for whatever reason - you knew what the consequences would be. The time for complaining about it is long gone.
Now those "consequences" are here as expected, and those of us with access to the BMP are singing its praises in this thread.
If you want to keep up your pointless complaints... how about you do it in your own thread, and leave this one alone.

Is it just me, or does the Tengu Staff look rather similar to a tri-ryche? Considering ArenaNet is based in Seattle, I can't help but wonder whether this is in fact not a coincidence...
Cool nonetheless. I just wish it were easier to work out what weapons looked like from the collector window - otherwise I would probably have picked something else before the undead shield. It's neat, but some of the other undead weapons are awesome.

You fail at trolling...
And aside you the point is what people did expect. Personally I did expect a couple of missions of no particular importance and say 4 or 5 unique greens to go with it. Surely I didn't expect nearly 30 (more than EotN introduced at least) skins that qualify by any standards as elite or high-end that you can get unlimited amounts for virtually no trouble at all. And to add to the final insult my -as well all others who had to buy from retail- 40 Eur (because some people still think dollars and euros are 1:1) were used to fund that attrocity of a bonus.
My QQ that, thank you.

LOL OVERPRIZED LOL
It’s the same prize a sin the store, except Anet gets more money. (No cost for making it + shipping, ect.)
Amazing job Anet!
Nice job on making the weapons so only the people who qualified can get them; I would hate to see people selling these.
P.S I was not being sarcastic, if some people though I was.

I like the missions...great fun ...nice skins on rewards etc etc. Good Job.
However it would have been nice to get something else that we could maybe sell for decent cash as even more reward.
I get so pissed off that people can have 8 million suddenly just from picking up the right magazine, or from living in the right country when beta starts.
But I have at multiple copies of everything GW, and can only get that sort of cash by grinding endlessly. I am not lucky enough to get the really good drops and luck shouldnt play so much part.

You will find alot of stuff cheaper in stores and online then in shop.
I didnt get the bonus mission pack and ill tell you what I think in a non-rant way.
The whole idea of the online shop is so anet can make more money, fair enough because for nearly every business in the world this is their aim. When anet put the online store together they only had positives:
*People who can buy online and dont want to leave the house can do.
*People who cant can just go around to their local store and pick the game up from there.
Win Win situation.
Then they annouced a offer for this pack to be only accessible to people who use the online store, still a good thing for anet, they make easier money because people will buy GW:EN (it was perfect timing with this) then get the bonus mission pack a few months later. This is where they would have considered alternatives (they are a good company so im sure they did this) and decided not to try do anything else. Mistake 1 = Angry Loyal Fans. People like myself who have played the game for longer than two years now cant have access to additional content (personnaly if its in the shops ill buy it, if not im not worried about it) for some this will be a major downfall and will not only be annoyed but also feel let-down by a company theyve give money too. GW:EN is released, for me it was great, weapon and armor skins are irrelevant to me and I just wanted good gameplay and areas, I got that but some people were annoyed at the weapon and armor re-skins. Mistake 2 = More Angry Fans, even people who have access to the BMP. Few months later BMP is released as promised, most people love it, new missions and weapons makes the game that little bit more fun again. People who dont have BMP see that the skins in this -FREE- content pack are better in a game they -PAID- for and dont have -ACCESS- too and this makes them even more outraged.
A company should not limit additional content for a game thats already been purchased to a group of people, this has been a major mistake and a real let down for some. They've also talked about them spending more time on GW2 when the skins in this do look fantastic but theres still dozens of bugs in the games that have been BOUGHT.
Just my opinion, rant about it or love it.
