Wait, are you saying that i did not have to buy anything from the online store in order to get the BMP? If that is the case i am going to be pretty annoyed with myself.

How is spending +25% (GWEN £18 @ amazon £25 @ online store) in their store an advantage?
They should of just sold the bonus mission pack in their little store if they wanted people to buy from it.

Annnd the thread degrades to whining. Is anyone working on a single screenshot collection of all the weapons, for wiki or something?

You misunderstand the meaning of "take advantage of". I'm highlighting the fact that for quite a while there was literature documenting the requirements to play the bonus pack. You had access to them, especially if you're as "loyal" a customer as you say. You chose to ignore them, but *now* that you see the sweet skins, well, that changes everything, now doesn't it. "Oh ANET, why have you forsaken me." I understand that everyone doesn't have access to a CC, but for the rest of you... Shut up and get over it. You had your chance and blew it.

Nice update. The weapon skins are great, better than most of the GWEN skins actually. The difficulty of the quests seems well balanced. Not much replay value, but given that it's free and an easy source of nice looking weapons, I have no complaints.
I've pretty much had my fill of pve, but I found stepping into another character to be interesting. It's too bad this idea wasn't elaborated on for a previous chapter, maybe even on a team scale.

Hi ArenaNet, I paid 40$ for this game too (boxed version). Where are my new weapon skins?

They are located in the Bonus Mission Pack that you chose not to acquire.

Debit cards worked too. If you don't have a debit card, you are probably living in the 19th century.

I'm with CHunterX, it would be great to have all the images of the new weapons consolidated into a single post.
Thanks to all who posted pics so far.
I'm looking for more scepter and offhand pics.

You didn't think the BMP was worth 7 pounds before and that's why you didn't buy it. Enjoy your copy from amazon and learn to live with your choices.

God, I'm drooling over all these screenies now - can't wait to get back from work. Thank you ANet - you've done a great job, didn't expect so many goodies from the BMP

Yeah it’s the best experience I have had in a long time in Guild Wars. Something different and the best rewards yet. I guess the beauty is in the detail. Well done A-team, I am impressed.

ROFLOLOL! It's funny cuz it's true.
Anet made it insanely clear how to get it, and pretty damn easy too. They gave multiple payment methods & purchase places. Some people chose the box over the BMP. bad choice? Maybe. At least they can brag about having the case & instruction booklet.

Yes, I instead chose to support retailers, and buy a better version of the game. That was supposedly to be the best option in the past, now the "best" is to buy it online so ArenaNet get the full money? interesting, I see all retailers removing all Guild Wars games of their stores very soon, let see if they will be happy to sell GW2 with ArenaNet promoting not to buy in retail stores.

And some people like buying online. The ones that like buying online get the BMP. The ones that like buying a hard copy don't. What part of this is hard for you to understand?

And some people wanted the BMP. Can't people see that this was basically a trade, package for content?

none of it is hard to understand... its clear as ever
but why not give people who bought the EXACT same game, the same chances in the game
just does not make sence

Playing GW for nearly 2.5 years and owning every expansion is loyal.
Only mugs would buy from the on-line store.. there is just nothing of worth in it other than the campaigns which are much cheaper elsewhere.
I am annoyed.. and I am whining.. because I feel hard done by, as I'm sure every other normal person who didn't waste money in their store is.

Well, this "mug" (?) is going to go play with his new Tengu, Undead, Mursaat and Char weaponry. Have fun saving money!
