I mean yea you get three hero's but i mean not having hero's is part of prophecies. Everyone had to go through it the first time without it. And I think if you start again you should have to go through it without heroes. If you want heroes and have nightfall you can just get ran to LA, and then go to nightfall get those heroes and come back. So i dont really see the need to open EotN to non level-20 characters.

I think this is to get as many players into GWEN as possible before this weekend GWEN event starts up.

And if it did have rare drops, they would become worthless as people farm the chest.
As for letting low level people into GW:EN, Why ?
My only complaint with this is that I don't understand why ANET did this, since I don't remember anyone complaining about it. If the low level players this lets in suck, I won't notice since I don't PUG much anyway. And even if I did, I don't PUG with anyone who is lower level than the henchmen.
As for farming tapestries, who would buy them ?
If you want them to fill up your HOM, wouldn't you be completing GW:EN on that character for other titles ?

i am very confused....
Flask of Firewater has been 3 mins / lvl 3 drunk for a while, thats what i have been using for my title as i slowly get it... over the last year.... this is no change, unless it was broken in the past... it has always been advertised as 3 mins / lvl 3 drunk... hence 2 drinks maxes my lvl of drunk out....
unless they r saying that its lvl 5, equaling 3mins drunk title cause last 2 minutes dont count....
plz clarify
also wtf is this crap about the lvl 10s getting armor and health buffs? what is this game coming to??? anet has no idea how pathetic they are making things... next will be an NPC that holds your little hand and guides you threw the entire game, or they will make it one of your heros, he is lvl 60, and you can ride around on his shoulder as he does the entire game for you... i am about as tired of this crap as i can get....

Well, you'd need a run to Lion's Arch anyway, to get to Eye of the North. So really, the easiest access is for lower-levelled Nightfall characters.

I think (as somebody else in one of these threads pointed out) that the new GW:EN mechanics for level 10 players is about the fact that GW:EN and Phrophecies are being sold together in this Preiumum Edition. Thus, new players who buy that will be able to get into GW:EN faster.

Bleh, what a misguided update. Why would I want to exchange pvp faction for pve junk? Faction should unlock pvp rewards. Pve rewards can be attained through pve. And we're still paying gold for invites and guests. I mean it's better than nothing, so in that respect I'm happy there at least was an update. But I would much rather spend pvp faction to pimp pvp characters, not pve.

Having never really done PvP in GW, is the Zaishen chest the first time GW has used PvP-grind to improve PvE characters, or has PvP been usable in the past to buy PvE skills / items / gear?
It seems so World of Warcraft...
I run a guild over there, and about a 1/5 of my members used to spend all their time in battlegrounds getting PvP faction so they could exchange it for PvE gear upgrades...

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but they moved the location of Xunlai Chests in Kamadan.
Now it's near the Sun Docks portal.

It's for preparation of Christmas.
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but they also made it so you can open the bags using a command other than 'I' in the BMP missions.

Do you think this will have any meaningful effect on the ferry services going on in Kamadan?
And Arcady, you can use Balth faction to unlock skills on your account, which can be learned through tomes, or can immediately be put on your heroes. Probably knew that already, but it's the only special thing I can think of.

The only part of this update that matters is the return of the sign in Kamadan that reads: Do Not Feed The Dwarf.
