I've had about three drop in the year and a half I've been playing.

Bear in mind that I take breaks from the game now and then, so it's more like 6-8 months of casual play.

I used to Ettin farm, MANY Sup Vigors and Abosrbs, back when the prices were 50k for vigors and 100k for absorbs.

I remember those days. The first Wintersday event was the best. Superior Vigors falling like rain.

I had so many I was giving them away to guild members.

In the almost 3 years I have been playing I have attained 8 sup vigors. When I attain another I make a new character...

OMG 8? so what? Benefits of not being a over farming, exploiting player if you ask me. When I just play the game causally, All the drops in the world are there for you with little effort. Its not even that expensive to buy at the NPC... If you do 1 freebe chest run (all chests) in NF you can get one NP. So its not that big a deal. Its suppose to be a RARE drops. as are all Gold runes. But that one specifically is suppose to be very rare in game. like 1 in every 500,000 game wide. But most people EXPECT to see one drop in Normal mode. and common thats just not going to happen... Hard mode you will find one eventually. but dont expect a bonanza of them. Its a RARE item. Its suppose to be USED when found, Not turned in for easy money. Thats the point of it.

the last time i got one was back when i farmed titans of dnkp, before the spirit bond nerf

IIRC got like 6 in 3 months of farming

actually got em when i started playing 2 years ago,
during the ring of fire mission.
got it from a chest
mursaat garment FTW!
had 3k on storage
sold it for 34k then boom
it became my capital for trading.
lets just say rest is history!

Um...I've gotten 2, and both times were in normal mode. 2 is not so many, but it is enough to point out that you are wrong here.

I've been playing on and off since the game first came out and have never gotten a single Sup Rune drop on any of my characters.

I've gotten several, mostly from ettin farming before the loot scaling came into effect. Though I guess those gold armors are not scaled now.

I think it has been less than 5, though only one back when they were worth quite a bit (purchased a sigil - again back when they were quite expensive - and finished my first set of 15k armor).

I would also add that amount of time played in hours is going to be more important than how many months. I guess I'm nearing the 30 month mark and a little over 1500 hours, some with half the time in months have over double the minutes. I bet some of the people with a large amount of them are in the 4000+ hour class.
