I've ID'ed about 775 items on my main character and not one sup vigor. I've been playing for about 19 months.

Got one from the HoH chest in all my time in GW.

Don't remember how many IDs I had (and a good chunk of them would be before titles were introduced) but I had over 5M exp on my main and another 5M across all other chars. You'd think that would be enough to get one in PvE? Nope.

I played about 1000 hours before I got my first one. I think I've gotten 1 or 2 others since then (so 2 or 3 in 2 years of pretty hard core play).

I've gotten a few I always hope for one. No clue how many id's but its enough I think.

I got three or four sups. One from Sskai farming, one from Ghial farming, and one from buying and IDing armors. I don't remember if there was a fourth or not. 3.5k hours logged.

I got one a LOOONG time ago (and only 1), and I salvaged it out unid'd. Because it was unid'd, I sold it to some guy for 52k to unlock the rune for PvP, when it was 47k at the trader. I was happy.

I got my first about a month after Factions came out, which was about 14 months after I started playing....

Now I've had about 7 drop, but the first 2 were lost upon salvaging. Oh yes did you all miss that random results from an expert salvage time?

Well many many veteran players will tell you that having a rare rune drop then losing it was very comon back before factions and for a while after it too.

When runes of absorbtion were 100K I never ever saw one, once they hit 100g I get them all the time....

Its just how life goes, one day you win the lottery, the next you get the black spot and are walking the plank.

Haven't had one from a drop in about a year. But I don't powerfarm anymore. Used to be, you could get them by farming ettins in Kryta. I did that...a lot. So, tbh, I don't really remember how many of them I've had drop since I started playing.

The price of the runes suggests that they are either much more common, or less used than previously. Most times, when I need one, I buy one now.

I had to wait 18 months for mine and then got two in one week!

Wish that had happened in my first GW week when they were 100k each and not 15k when I got mine

Had about 5 in total now.

I played for 17-18months now and i'm getting 2-3 superior vigors every month. Also alot of major and minor vigors are popular for me the last weeks. Last week i had a 7gold armors and got 2 sup vigors when identify them. I'm just lucky i gues. Most of the runes with sup vigor are dropping in elona for me. Only got 1or 2 sup vigors came out of a locked/any high end chest.

My total of identified golds are around 2500-3000. I just put them in all in storage and identify with only one character.

Yea, a Guildie of mine has that curse aswell... but funnily enough every time we go farming together with him we get doubble the gold and green drops as usual (for example I got Dragos Flatbow and Melandrus scythe in one evening farming together with him). where as he gets the crappiest drops you can ever imagine (FoW run = 1 purple non max common skinned and non-max modded hammer chestdrop for his ranger + share of party gold + Diaper remains [Dark remains]).

We just share our loot with him if theres anything he wants from the stuff, so in the end he gets less drops but he gets exactly what he wants/needs from the group loot.

Nope, not a single Sup. Vigor Rune (even playing together with said guildie.

I could never claim to be a farmer, but I can tell you that I've played the game the way it was intended to be played (casually, but constantly) since the first day of release, and I've never found a superior vigor rune, nor has my constant playing partner.

I've killed a lot of ettins during those two years, too. ^_^

I've been playing since september '05, haven't gotten a sup vigor once... :P
Not even on my ettin farming runs when they still dropped about 2-3 golds each time for me

Haven't seen superior vigors lately either.

Found 2 vigor on my main char (2100 hours played - in 28 months) prior to end of 2005 since then nada, ziltjs, niets, rein, nothing, ...

Luckily the prizes dropped now so you can better buy them then hope for a drop.

I've been playing since the first beta events, I've gotten two sup vigors. I mostly get sup soul reaping

I've gotten at least 20 of those.
