Ugh, I hate Wintersday. Everyone decides to log in clog every major city, thus increasing my lag.

i gave up on hats, never use em, just farm a ton of alcohal to either use or sell, though i think its easier to make a profit and buy things later =P

Thing is you can't buy the hats...and it takes a few minutes if you have your schedule down. Hop in when it's hat time, get yours, go back to farming your junk. Show the hat to the festival hat guy and it's yours forever.

offtopic too - I'm going to guess about Feb 8. Chinese New Year (Year of the Rat) starts Feb 7 and Feb 8 is Friday.

It would be nice if the event hats they gave us were actually wearable in combat. I mean we have glasses, sunglasses, mask of the mo zing, and so forth and so on as max armour headgear; not to mention ice gauntlets and destroyer gloves with max armour; all of which able to take insignias and runes. Also I agree with what someone else had said previously in the thread about us having maybe some event gloves or shoes or somesuch. Either way, looking forward to the event yay wintersday

Sounds great as usual. Wintersday is my favorite event and I'm sure many others too. The only thing that made me cringe slightly was the hats. It isn't very clear, but are we only going to have a chance at one hat? If so that kind of sucks. They better show us the hats before then so we can decide which one is the best. Other than that i can't wait to get my wintersday fun started.

Hats are great for Wintersday. :-) As part of our festivities in my guild we are having a contest where the winner gets a custom fleece Asura hat.

*slapping forehead* I should have known! Why am I not surprised that the ever talented KiyaKoreena, winner of the 2007 Halloween art contest grand prize, designed this cute little hat?

So in the spirit of Wintersday, I just spent my game time today giving away about 8 undedicated mini pets to new players with wishes for a happy Wintersday. The last one I gave away was a kirin. I now have 8 more slots available in storage.
