"If you are thinking about GW2 now, 2+ years before its release, I recommend you see a therapist. Otherwise you will suffer from borderline dementia." Posted by Zinger

Borderline here. nothing special But, not dementia... perhaps hints of that after 70 age. Or sooner, hope not

As it comes to Gw2, want to max my (some)titles... and have fun. And do not disturb too much people every now and then. That was not satisfactory, see my mother language And keep my friends online.

*quickly goes away*

Hoping not to be struck by dementia ^^
or make stupid calls, when wasted.

but that was, meh off-topic.

i want the game but i don't want it at this moment. Let it come in its own tim.
im going to be annoyed on release though with all the people saying how dissapointed they are and how they maxed ther monuments for nothing special.
You didn't have to get the titles....Anet didn't have to reward you for them at all either...get what your given

I think about it 1 to 20 times a week depending on how often I'm not doing anything.
There are lots of other games out I'd like to play, so it's just a passing interest in what it'll be like.

Everytime I see someone says NOT GONNA HAPPEN NOW THAT GW2 IS COMING OUT, I secretly wish GW2 IS NOT coming out....

and the answer to your question is no, i do not wish GW2 is out already, I wish GW2 is something you add on to GW1 and make it become GW2. not an expansion something that you don't have 2 different server (probably have more) for GW1 and GW2.

47.
That's not how many times I wish GW2 was released, because I don't... ever.

47 is the number of posts in this thread, out of the 69 so far, that say they've never wished for GW2 to be released. I counted.

Many of those 47-out-of-69 posts are negative enough to say they wish it would NEVER be released.

Also, a lot of the remaining 22 posts are off-topic, simple replies, or pretty darned luke-warm. When there was a question, I didn't count the post as negative.

If nothing else, I'm relieved to see that the majority of people on this thread feel the same way I do about GW2...

Maybe it'll be good, maybe it'll be bad, but regardless, it'll be the end of a game that I KNOW I enjoy, and no, I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Thanks for asking.

GW2, and the announcement of it, can have nothing but bad effects on the GW1 community.

I have somewhat the same thoughts. GW1 has a lot of what I expect from a game, especialy the use of heroes.

If they would release other expansions coming years for GW1, I would buy them.

I never think ''I wish GW2 was out already''. I will buy GW2, just to sponsor ANET. If I'm gonna play it like I played GW1, doubt it.

I never think that myself. As it stands I know what GW1 has to offer and that is a good game imo.
As far as GW2 is concerned I must I admit I am not one for rumours and will not get excited about it till I've got more definite info about it. The thing about new stuff is always that you don't know what it's gonna be like and it could be disappointing as much as fantastic.
I will see it when it comes along and if I like it I will play it. But I honestly don't really know what to expect so I'll just let it hit me.

2 times a week or so with other words at the same rate I think about MGS4 and ff ^^
at the other hand I would love if anet would release an other chapter
IMO anet still haven't done everything they could do with gw1...
IMO gw2 is getting released to soon but than again I can't wait for it.

Most people seem to not like gw2 becuase :
-it will destroy gw1 (community like)
-they don't wanne play gw2 because they can't just leave there characters.

I also have that feeling but than again my guess is that gw2 will be all that and better (well more I hope).

Not looking forward to it. Put a lot of work into my main character for it not to be transfered over to the so called "sequel". Starting over from scratch is ftl. We also have a year of stagnation with no new skills or content to endure as well. I'm guessing not much player base will be around for GW2 myself included, could be the biggest flop in MMO history.

lol....you are a bit negative there. Anything new can flop (or be a big success), but to think there won't be much of a player base left because, well, you won't be there anymore....I honestly didn't know you represented the majority of the player base.
And do mind, you usually can't transfer characters to a new game. That is normal so it seems a bit odd to be upset at that. The HoM is rather unique in that really.
There are many people out there playing and the people on forums like this are a small part of that community. Be careful not to take these forums too seriously.

Everytime I log onto Guild Wars, I think about GW2 because GW right now is completely boring. Everytime a new chapter was released, the fun factor was still there, but it started to fade once factions came out. I don't know why, but in my opinion the first chapter was the best, and the rest fail in comparison.

None for me and I have no intentions of getting gw2 due to past experiences with the game. I haven't even played GW since cod4 came out, and neither have most of the gw guild that I'm in cause we are all playing cod4.
