For some reason, people drop after that 10th win becasue they don't want to face a TA team (which, btw, are often pretty lousy themselves).

I hate to say it, but before Glad points, I remember being a warrior and just starting out in PvP; joining a RA game and grouping with 3 rangers, we won 19 consecitive times, and they bosted about winning 32 times in a row, one player said he won 52 times in a row. I can believe it too, becuase since then and before glad points mind you it was normal for me to win 10 to 15 times in a row, starting in RA with a team before loseing in TA, and we enjoyed the challenge.
Like I said, those days must be gone, it is benifical to stay in it as long as you can, your team earns more glad points, or did they nerf it again?

OP has a very good point of how the glad point system screws those players who by happenstance, are thrust onto a team that already has a streak going.
I say, give the glad point to the player who currently gets screwed in that situation, regardless of him not having participated in the full number of matches. It's not his fault the game automatically thrusted him into a situation in which he would get screwed, so he shouldn't be penalized by the system for that.
