Nerf LoD's healing power by 10hp = good and correct decision
Nerf LoD's cast time to 2 seconds = idiotic decision resulting from a bafflingly unacceptable level of incompetence
If they wanted to nerf LoD beyond -10hp, take it down to -20hp. But the 2 second cast time is inexcusable.

It needed to be removed from play to encourage splits in GvG.

Dang, I sometimes use Oppressive Gaze on my Necro, and that modification to the skill is really going to hurt that build that I made up.. back to the drawing board.
The only other skill modification that had me worried for a second was the Splinter Weapon, but then I remembered that I only use it on my Ranger along with Barrage, so it is as if nothing happened, right?... RIGHT???

It's that character with the gold shiny wings that you use to store mods and inscriptions.
It's a miracle they never got nerfed once again. Perhaps there's nothing left to nerf.

Because, apparently, we are not supposed to know of them yet. They were put on, but later removed.

Ya if this will happen. Say Good Bye to HB Monks they just got destroyed. duration on it, but has unlimited casts but comeon HB was nice addition to heros and now with Duration. Nope not liking that.

I would guess the reason for changing HB to duration, is to make it unusable by non-monk primaries.
It's better for monks now tbh.

The splinter weapon 'nerf' isn't going to hurt too much..just take another 2-3 seconds longer to kill the mobs...no biggie..
(Those targeted 3 are dooooooooomed!!)

When? PvPers never asked for anywhere near an LoD nerf, LoD was also fine.
The nerf is random.

Read threads on why LoD was a problem. It was the backbone of the entire team.

No, actually, LoD is relied on to support split teams a little while holding together the stand team at the same time. It's also mostly to counter the lamest build alive - hexes.
Splits are not always tactical. Tactics is knowing when to split and knowing how to split, and if stand teams are how you can capitalize on what you do best.
LoD is imba because it's free, right?

Troll threads? Show me where. LoD has never been a problem. As a 1 second cast and an elite (Signet of Humility) it's ridiculously easy to shut down. Nothing's wrong with it.

My thoughts on the MONK changes (since I primarily play a monk):
Healer's Boon: this is a MAJOR BENEFIT to primary monks (who can remember to keep it up), especially heroes (who never forget to keep it up)
Healing Breeze: I "might" add this to my hero monk (with the change to Healer's Boon) but REGEN healing skills have always been bad overall because of enchantment removal
Heal Party: More health is always a good thing
LoD: Should be interesting to see the ramifications of this. Perhaps a Mesmer LoD monk? There's no longer a conditional requirement so that's definitely a plus for it.
Restful Breeze: the ultimate healing skill for those who heal outside battle (IE: runners)
Word of Healing: WOW! You can target yourself now. I may be switching my monk healing build back to Word of Healing

HB monks didn't get destroyed, maybe heroes did using that skill but not HB monks themselves, it got a nice boost. If the recharge is under 55 seconds, you'll get it every 55 seconds for 5 energy..dont see how that's bad at all.

Why do I think the buff is a good thing? Because Glimmer of Light is a highly effective healing spell, with a 1/4 casting time and a 2s recharge you could spam that, but NOW more health (A good thing last time I checked) and a FASTER recharge (Also I good thing)
