oh yeah, start promoting a game 2 years early, then when it's released everyone looks at it and says to themselves "yeah, I read about that 2 years ago. that's old news. I'll get WoW2 instead."

They are releasing info as they see fit, and to be honest they know what they're doing. Just look at the success of Guild Wars. Just because you want to know everything about the game now does not mean that they should start promoting since they don't even know half the stuff yet (like what HoM accomplishments will reward).

Exactly my point. I don't know about the whole gaming community though lol but hey even if you hate WOW you know what Wotlk is all about.
