No Anet will not ban you.

I been using Gwx2 for almost a year now.. no problem with it.
If u wanna run 3 GW client, then u have to use hex editor.
Running 3 client will take a lot of computer resources so for some computer, it will lag but 2 should be fine.

Hope this help

I have a question, when you download the 2nd client, do you have to rename it like gw2.exe?

No, you just need to have the second client in a different folder.

Looked for it, didn't find it.

I'd be more concerned with the possibility of the program including a keylogger of some sort.

Also, their site is advertising some type of drunkard bot now. Which would definitely be against the EULA.

yeah sorry about that, I only just found out that the original thread in question has been removed from guru and wiped out of existence.

Maybe because they/he released a Drunkard bot, since it simulates a mouse click every 3minutes or so i think, it would be against the EULA. Which could be the reason the powers that be of guru done smite all connection to it.

It still possible to find the thread in google cached search results, or u can always do a google search for the GWx2.

Lets Get to Healing, thats what you might wanna do. I not going to risk a ban by posting the link on guru.

As for the keylogger question, it existed in the thread for well over a year with only one complaint. And that guy admitted he had downloaded other programmes. 99% of users are happy and still using it today.

But I suggest no one download the Drunkard bot! its against the EULA

Let's see, you can get two copies of the game and run them on two different computers in the same house off the same network connection...those two computers could be right next to each other...you're doing the same thing just cutting your hardware in half.

And the program doesn't alter what the game does when it's running...it's just allowing you to run two instances at the same time.

Not illegal, not against the EULA, and shouldn't be. If you spend the money on two different copies, play them.

Word!

And if anyone has every used it on a normal machine, it is really hard to play with dual accounts. It takes alot os system specs and will likely fry your graphics card in the long term

I just use it to exchange items between accounts

Same here using 2 clients almost over a year, the post has been removed? Pretty laggy for my pc so have to set both graphic setting to low(still lag though, esp. after gw:en's release), mainly use for items transfer. Using the hex editing with registry entry method so no worries of keylogger.

I just found the tutorial which is still on Guild Wars Guru itself, hope it helps.

You dont have to copy both gw.exe and gw.dat after each update.
Just update your main account folder, then copy that gw.exe to your secondary account folder.
Then update your secondary, followed by starting the program that makes both run.
