Anti Melee Hexes are frustating
At least for Blinding I have a counter, but what can I do against anti-melee hexes?
I am not talking about Empathy but about Insidious Parasite, Reckless Haste and specially Faintheartedness.
More then the effect, the inability of avoiding it is what annoy me. Some of these can be keep up indefenitely if the necro want and removal is as hard as they come.
Killing the source of the problem with reduced speed and lifestealing isn't a breeze too, it's a loss/loss situation in which the better you do is wait until 20 sec until the hex ends to attack 5 secs before being hexed again.
Frustating.

This might sound shocking, but Guild Wars is a team-based game.

this is not a solo game.
also, if you are desperate, get a mo secondary and use purge signet.

It depends on what you're playing, but usually when I'm waring in RA and anti-mele hexes are a problem I build up adren hitting through the hexes (don't let your hp dip <50), get out of range when they're about to wear off, then bull's -> evi -> exec -> shock -> dchop/agonizing. Best you can do if you have no ranger/mes etc on your team.

What's next?
Blocking stances are frustrating because you don't have stance removal?
Monks are annoying because you have no shutdowns?

Deluxe is bang on, they're supposed to be frustrating!
Might as well complain that healing spells mean you have to do more damage to kill someone.

I started running into hexes when I played a necro and mesmer. And I always thought that they weren't good enough!
Now I've started playing more melee classes and I still feel that they aren't good enough.
(Sometimes I quite love the fact that GW has a persistent PvE. Stupid once, ALWAYS stupid!)

And the fire is hot, ice is cold and water is wet. It just how the skill is, same with the anticaster and antishout counterpart.

To Kakumei...
Melee hexes aren't the only hexes running, and not always I will have then (or all of then to the matter) removed in a timely fashion.
To Mokone...
The Monk idea crossed my mind, but the Purge Signet cooldown is, indeed, bigger then the many melee hex cooldown. Believe me, I tried.
I'd say the meta today isn't melee happy. Between blind-spam and the several melee hexes, being caster looks like a wiser approach.

They are frustating because you can't beat then. I CAN have stance removal, or blind removal, but sometimes, even a Monk can't take out enough anti-melee and heal.
Anyway, this is just my opinion... this is what this forum is right?

How else is a class like a mesmer supposed to stand a chance against a warrior?
Even -10 degen isn't enough if they have decent self-heals.
And you can attack through those curses, sure you will be taking some damage but it doesn't take much to hit through 60 armor.

There is no doubt that hex removal in Guild Wars is rather weak, but for the most part if an enemy is dedicated to shutting you (and you alone) down, they'll be able to do so. This goes basically for almost every class in the game (i.e. melee, caster, monk, etal).
As said above, that's why it's a team game. Hopefully, if they are shutting you down, some other member of your team is left unchecked to compensate for you.

So true, its a team game, go to Team Arenas, take a Team Build to stop the Hexes. Complaining about things not going your way in RA pretty much falls on deaf ears, well other than those of people who will flame you.
