Well, as for Heal as one being over powered, I disagree. 25% health is a small window which to activate it in a lot of cases, especially when you're being knocked down or spiked. It's balenced.

But when it comes to an effective Assasin, I can see something like this in RA.

12 pts- BM
12 +1 pts- Dagger Mastery
3 +2 pts- Shadow Arts

[skill]heal as one[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill] [skill]Otyugh's Cry[/skill] [skill]shroud of distress[/skill][skill]golden fox strike[/skill][skill]fox fangs[/skill][skill]nine tail strike[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

~Edit, Otyugh's Cry is innacurate. It prevents your pet from being blocked with a +24 Armor Bonus.

I didn't post my build because people would jump and say "RA builds should be posted on the PvP forum" or something similar, but this just show you really can't win some battles.

The build, however, isn't my point... I am just saying Heal as One is a impressive heal (elite or not), and Beast Mastery has some interesting skills to boot.

It's important to note if a Sin try to make a different build, it is instantly labeled as a bad build, but if he goes with the classic "shadowstep + LOD" he is a 1234 noob wiki-sin.

Again, can't win.

A 25 win streak means 15 of those battles were fought in TA. But I guess TA is for noobs to and any build will work.

A large number of teams in TA come from RA. RA is scrubville. See where I'm going with this?

Doesn't even factor in the number of bad teams that form in TA.

What makes a good build so? The build works, gave me consecutive wins and lots of funny (or irate) comment about the players I fought along and against.

Any build which make me win and have a fun time is good in my book.

I think the point is that a good team of 3 can drag a bad player along for a few glad pts; and that RA/TA is full of horrible teams that have no idea how to play.

I've always felt that HaO is one of the most worthless elites in Guild Wars outside of Hero Battles.

After reading this thread I still feel the same way. However, I am glad to hear you are happy with your success. All I can say is don't change it if its working.

If you got 25 win with that build I'm going to guess you had team mates that were upset with having to drag you through them. Thre are a massive aray of better heals to go with a Sin than that.

I hope your 8th skill was a rez.

Yes your being flamed for being out of the norm, but come on. How many other win streaks did you/do you get with it? What were your team mates proffesions and builds on that run?

We had a Sin with Sight Beyond Sight and a Thumper with Death Charge. None of then never complained in any moment about skill or playstile, we just played the game.
