I love Nians (Grenth?) Hat and the snow globe, I have to say the snow globe is my favorite by far.

I like them all in different ways. Very creative. Good job to all winners. Beats my idea of a Candy Cane Head LOL.
So...are ALL these hats going to be available during Wintersday? Cause I don't know if I will have time to get them all OH NOES!!! Xmas is really busy time for me going to all the parents houses and relatives and friends.

*Note: The hat that appears in the game is based upon a player concept, but will not look precisely like the submitted idea. The art team sometimes makes adjustments to player art to assure the design is compatible with other game designs, and artists also often need to modify a design to properly adjust it to character models. For example, because of how character art and armor works together, a hat that sits on the top of the head will make the character appear to be bald, which naturally requires some amendment to work around. With all player-submitted designs, the art team chooses the winning designs and then adjusts them to fit into the Guild Wars world.
Bald... ...bald santa hats do not look good.
Well congrats I really love the frozen crown, though I have no idea how it is going to look without hair....

I think only the 1st place winner will get the Hat made. Dwyana will come from the internal I'm guessing.
Gaile said in another forum there will only be 2 hats this year.
But, yeah, losing the hair totally changes the winning illustration (which is very nice BTW).

Everyone is invited to see the grand debut of the two new Wintersday helms—including the player-designed* Grenth helm—at 12:01 AM Pacific time (-8 GMT) on January 1, 2008, and every three hours throughout the day.
To me that sounds like it's only the Grenth one we're getting.

I think what this is suggesting is that they're using Nians entry for the grenth helm...

Well I didn't win, but I was a finalist at least. I liked second place, but the rest were kind of a disappointment in my opinion. Most weren't original enough for my liking. Snowglobe was funny though.
Here's my entry: Grentch Cap

Holy freakin crap.
So.....we get these hats right?
They're all so amazing and creative.
Snowglobe head ftw.
Edit: aww looks like were only getting one? oh well, at least it's a good one.
And were really only getting 2 helms this year? wonder why they stopped doing the 2 from kamadan.
And who wants to bet that our characters will look bald with the new hat.

Cool hat, but probably too close to the Jester hat from last year? Just a guess.

All are very nice. If they indeed use one of these I'll be happy. Much better than the Halloween crap, imo.
Favorites are 1st and 3rd.

I'd imagine they'll render it like the antlers from the previous two years - you keep your hair with those two.
