Default Lag Check

Hey, guys,

Network Support has asked me to get a report from you on how latency is within the game. I'll make a quickie poll.

Thanks!

For those reporting significant or play-stopping issues, could you please provide details? Particularly relevant is your location and the time of day you had the problem.

Seems to be fixed now, cheers
What was with the extremely long dragon festival as in Dragon Arena & Nest by the way?
Any chance there's gonna be a permanent mini-game?
(EDIT: I'm the master of going off-topic ~~)

Having a bit of latency in PvP arenas (Europe)

Other than that, the only thing I want to know is will that Pre-order GWEN sword be re-inscribable ._.

I have lag problems, rubberbanding in most cases, and getting stuck a seconds.

I'm from Spain (Telefonica and Ono networks), my problems begin usually at 10pm (Spanish time), that's when I usually play.

Last night about 1 a.m. EST America. Several periods of total stop (I'm looking at monster, monster looks at me, we're both just standing there and then a rush of hits to catch up) at least 30 sec in length. Went away in a few minutes.

I've been unable to play these last few days. Not only due to lag but also constant disconnects, though this might be a completely separate issue (It's very hot in Holland atm, and my graphic card tends to overheat).
All my chars display rubberbanding, and sometimes I get the same issue as havok019, when everybody just stops and stares. It occurs mostly from 15-23, when more people are on, but other times are not lag-free either.

Yesterday evening 7-10 PST American Server, West Coast

While in missions freeze up, wait a few seconds and then go again. Also lag...run up the steps and all of a sudden I am at the bottom again.

i dunno its been for a few hours, but i got on for the first time today, 5pm today, brought some cheap un id'd garbs for 19k and it was so laggy in lions arch - district any.

i was getting a ping of anywhere between 400-100,000 ! it was shocking, i know its not my connection, as i just speed tested it, and made sure nothing was leeching the connection.

i have a 16mb line as well :'(

No server-side lag problems.

My internet connection on the other hand...

No lags for me, but in some areas like Lions Arch I experience lots of rubberbanding.

No real problems here...occasionally the ping will spike and the little bubble with go red...but it's usually cleared up in a couple of seconds and goes back to green. I attribute it more to my internet connection and the internet in general. No rubberbanding or large in game lag spikes.

Haven't had any lag problems at all. The last time I had a problem was in early July, before the whole Frankfurt hub event, and that was when my entire team froze for approximately 10 seconds two or three times during a GvG. Everyone froze, not just me.

Lag was fixed a couple days ago. Before that, I was experiencing severe lag for weeks. I just want to reiterate that a bit of reassurance for players outside of Europe while this was being dealt with would have gone a long way. I was feeling like this problem would not be addressed for the rest of us as we couldn't even get you guys to publicly acknowledge that we were also having this problem. Aside from that, I'm glad this issue is now being addressed and has been fixed for many, and hopefully will be fixed soon for everyone else.
