the crystals on the current one look a lot like very dull jade....
easy improvements to make the the best wintersday hat ever...
1 make the spikes point upward
2 try to give it a glassier look make it reflect light (not so easy) so as you turn different spikes reflect in different ways and this would give it the glowy look
3 get rid of the metal rim....make it fur and make that part of the hat dyeable...

i was excited when i saw the designs...they didnt even try to copy it though at least they got the basics from it

So true. It's one thing if GW2 was like coming in a month or something and they were in 'crunch-time' mode to get things ready. Hell, it's still another year to year and a half away.....LOL.

On my character, the Wreath Crown sits so low that it covers up her entire forehead and her eyes are just on the edge of the bottom, so it looks a little strange.

As for the Ice Crown, I'm amazed that people are complaining this hard about it. As for the color problem, well, Glacial Gauntlets are the same color and those are supposed to be "ice". I remember when Glacial Gauntlets first appeared during the Eye of the North preview event, and people were hoarding Glacial Stones like they were the new ecto.

I guess that when something is easily obtained and free, then people will complain loudly how ugly it is. But if it is rare and expensive, then people hoard it like no tomorrow.

but they are not the same color - not even close. True the gloves are pretty ugly. but at least they do look like ice and not slate.

The glacial gauntlets are actually a bit transparent and look like ice. The crown...does not.

Upier way many pages back, that wreath looks really silly on your head.

I agree with most about the crown, nice try but try re-texturing it Anet so it's a bit more like ice and..not whatever it is now.

Pretty okay on the Wreath but it's kind of odd too.
