I definitely ran some terrible build on my ranger. My heroes certainly weren't any better. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I knew my heroes were a part of it. Needless to say, I was destroyed. Haven't done one since.

I ran R/P with 2 R/P heroes and something else. Person asked to roll, I said ok. He beat me in roll, but I didn't leave. Instead I rolled him. <3

I don't recall what I did exactly, but I think I ran:
R/P (Build I made up)
Cripslash Warrior
SF Elementalist
Monk
I faced some totally clueless Asian guy, who apparently was less prepared than me. I won by something like 20 - 6. I haven't done a hero battle since.

I went against a W/Mo with 3 warrior heroes with mending.
It was my first, so I took the generic PVE stuff, Koss for tanking, Dunkoro for monking, Acolyte Jin with a burning arrow build. I won it , but only becasue he had Goren set up as a monk. (seriously, I saw him using orison of healing on the other chars.)

Never Hero Battled. Not even once. 21 months, with an active account. Still have bothered to try it out. I was told it sucks, I never decided to try.

Hmm, when I first heard of HB I grabbed my olias as an MM, talkhora was HB healer I believe and ofcourse zhed as fire nuker. I was warrior with some dumb build.
The match went pretty much like this: Me constantly running after the other guy trying to kill him/his heroes, yet they just kept running *capping shrines*. While I was wondering why the coward was running away from battle. When I noticed I was losing with 0-10, I left.
Never did HB again.
I'm so gud :x

I ran 1W 1D 1Me (me) and a Monk, using Mesmer shutdown and frantic target pinging to execute a sort of small Adren spike. I fought a guy who was willing to fight me face to face and rolled him.
I got bored soon after I ran into a few 2Mo 1Rt superholding builds.

My first hero battle was kinda easy..
I don't remember what i ran on that moment, but after I got a few points, the opponent left.
And so I had a few similar battles, until I went to fight against someone from [WM] (I don't know if that was War Machine). The battle went pretty smoothly, until somehow the [WM] guy got more points and I lost. Never played Hero Battles again after that, I don't know why.

Who knows. Maybe the meta has gone through a complete cycle and RaO rangers may once again dominate.

3 rangers (me included) with dual shot, distracting shot, and ignite arrows, and hybrid monk. RSpike, taking advantage of ignite arrows to 1. cause AI heroes to run around randomly, and 2. attempt to clear out the spirit spam that was so popular when I rolled this out.
Haven't played much since then, but I got 69 wins in the first week or so running this build.

I ran a modded eurosplit rit along with dslash Koss, cripshot (or was it burning arrow?) Jin and a ZB monk. Won most games because people were bad and gimmicks hadn't come out yet at the time.
Oh, I also agreed to /roll but never left. Suckers.
