Pop ups in My Mind
You know, I didn't know where to post this two simple things that popped up in my mind and...
why tomb of primeval kings does not have a hom statue?
why there is not a "sub-quest" title? Making one for each campaign would increase A LOT the lifespawn of the game.
I mean, there are some quite hard sub-quests, but nobody plays them because it's just...useless. A waste of time. Someone could say "yo udo it for fun", but someone could also answer that you have fun when you get something for your efforts...except Eye of North, other sub-quest rewards are just "meh", lets give this part of the game some importance, plz!
If you have more "pop-ups" in your mind post them here, and lets discuss about them.

I think a Tombs HoM reward is a great idea. The sub-quest idea is good too but I think it would be hard to implement.
A pop up I often think of is "why isn't there an inscription trader?" It would be a great gold-sink, be a convenience to everybody and would use the same supply and demand scheme as the rare material trader.

/pokes the auction dead horse. That's not something feasible with the current game design. They've probably duly noted it for GW2.
As far as the quest title goes, they'd have to fine-tune it for each profession- because some quests are profession-specific.

Yes, there should be a HoM reward for completing Tombs, and Tombs should officially be considered the Tyrian "elite mission." The fact that it hasn't been billed as such - not from the very beginning, maybe, but at least once the Canthan "elite missions" were revealed - is an incredible oversight.

Tombs would be a great addition to the HoM, but especially, as someone stated above, it should be considered a Tyrian elite mission.
As for the quests, I agree that it would be hard to implement, as there are profession-related quests. But perhaps it could be implemented in a more general sense, such as the first level of the title be completing 50 or so quests, second level being 150, and so on. There are an awful lot of quests in the game, but I'm not sure how many to be exact. It would definitely be a challenge to complete them all though. Perhaps a tedious challenge, but that is how it is with all the titles...

It essentially is an elite mission (Tombs), and you're all right, it should be aknowledged as such. Just because it can be quickly completed with a simple group format does not make it less challenging to those who are not already familiar with the mission's structure. Fingers of Chaos makes quick work of groups who aren't ready for it, just like any other devastating Monster Skill or Environment Effect in any elite mission.

Interesting. If Tombs was labeled the "Tyrian Elite mission", then it'd be the only elite mission with henchies.

205 in Prophecies, 220 in Factions, 200 some quests in Nightfall, and however many in EotN
somewhere around 800

I love the sub-quest title idea. Although it wouldn't affect me, since I already do most quests, I think more people would do them.
And the inscription trader idea is nice, as well. I think it'd have to be tested a bit though. If everyone and their brother decides they want to load up on a certain inscription and the price shoots up, no one would like that. Except, of course, those who loaded up on them. Because now they get to be rich.
Anyway...I've got nothing that pops into my head.

Great ideas.
Even if some quests are profession based.... I guess a way of doing it is:
ALL general quests + YOUR profession specific quests - (pre-searing quests, since there is no going back) To achieve max tier would be slightly different depending on your character.
It gives people another choice of title.

Then you run into the problem of not being able to get credit for the quests that you already did & are not repeatable...ie: pre searing quests. Everyone had to redo UW, FoW, SF etc to get their statue because there was no way to record which quests you character has or hasnt done in the past.
Great idea, not possible IMO

Well, technically Tombs are just dungeon which is dificult just as EoTN ones, you just don't have res shrines and morale boosts.
It would like statue, but i dont see it as deserving one. If it was given one, then each dungeon should get one.
About quest title, yes, i suggested it not long ago...

Why did players in GW become so bad compared to Prophecies times?
Oh wait, I know the answer.

I have to disagree - The only thing that made Tombs easy is the B/P group that nearly everyone runs there (I haven't done it since the pet corpse nerf, tho, but I'm sure that that made it harder for those groups, too). If you run a standard group there, it's much more challenging than the GW:EN dungeons (Slaver's excepted).

From one who has defeated Tombs Darknesses many times and agree with the 'elite' tag I have to voice my resounding...
