I dont know about that, depends on the game type imho. for a rpg console for sure but a FPS the only thing that competes with the PC is the Wii for FPS controls (ala MP3, best fps controls ever)

Well they already have stated that they will be... and the PS3 isnt junk at all. All 3 of the new consoles are great this time. PS3 just needed time to get into its stride

seems to give some credence to the rumor for sure.

They both NCSoft and Sony haven't done anything yet and there is no way you could play GW on a console.GW will always be a PC game only.

Always is a long time plus its not like you cant use keyaboards and mice on a PS3 either, i think its very possible. Might be a little different but i would not be shocked by it

You do realize the cost associated with making 2 differnent types of games cause that is what they need to do.I don't think Anet has the staff or designers to put together a console game not to mention it needs a HDD.The datbak file alone won't fit in sony play station.Then there is all the ram that you will need and GW needs a lot.

I don't think I'd want GW on the PS3, but a GW spinoff with better graphics might be nice.

The PS3 has a harddrive, every unit does. Also if they can do assassins creed a GW game would be rather easy. Im not about the resouces either cause i doubt they have them as well. That being said it would be nice to see more GW out there. IM not saying it is happening just that its a possibility.

PS3 comes with a HDD, and has, if necisary a blu ray player, so i am pretty sure they could put a copy of guild wars (my current install. with all games/eotn/BMP is 3.4GB, would fit on a DVD) onto a 25/50gb blu ray disk

Ok.They come with HDD they still won't make it remember we are talking about Anet here not NCsoft.There is no way you can port this over to console if you want to go and read every bit of news we reported on about Star Trek Legacey being ported over from console to PC which turned into a disaster and also put a black mark on Bethesda Softworks.

well i honesty couldnt give a flying if it is ported or now, and have no thoughts on if it will or wont. just pointing out all the wrong stuff with your post.

Since forever, it came of beta awhile back and now anyone can play. Theres an optional payment option to buy "Ncoins" which you can use to buy ingame armour/weapons that you otherwise couldn't.

Why not? PS3 has a large number of players and is cheaper than a computer of equal processing power. Blu-ray would mean better everything for the game.

Oh, and to all who say "PS3 = fail" or "xbox 360 = fail"... its just cause you don't have one. This isn't a console forum, so quit with all the regular aweful grammer and bias.
