I liked it A LOT. All the really bad players who use mending and just grind through the game by getting onto another players groups and rely on other people get them through get stuck on it. You have to be able to *gasp* read dialogue.

I thought Tihark Orchard was clever and original. I did not appreciate the mime duel, however. There is one emote -- can't remember what it looks like (sorta like "/boo" only it isn't "/boo") -- that causes me to FAIL every time he does it. But I just keep repeating the duel until he does ten emotes I recognize.

I think ArenaNet should add an option to kill him though, like they did for the lady with the vase. Hmmm, I wonder which option most people would choose?

"Meaningless threads" are the meat and potatoes of this forum. Get used to it. Besides, it's not meaningless if people enjoy talking about it.

One mor things I LOVE about this mission is this.

In Spanish, they call 'coop' to anything that starts with a different outposts icon. Coop comes from "Aventura Cooperativa" (Cooperative Adventure), since 'Misión' (Mission) is used for 'quests', since 'gesta'(quest) sound a bit pedant in informal Spanish). But not all missions are cooperative ones! They should be called 'aventuras', like it says in the part search panel.

I always hated that.

Now, there are Missions that are not cooperative you people have to call everything mission or 'Aventura', not coop.

'Coop' sounds like a hen clucking!

At first, I was really glad I was grinding a pet to 20 for the HoM. Then I was really amused by the mission itself. Damn mime!

Tihark's one of the more enjoyable missions in the game. The mime is a pain, but there's got to be some challenge to the mission. Running around stealing everyones' drinks was a hoot.

I thought the mission itself fit very well with the storyline and added a level of depth & sense of immersion to Nightfall that was completely lacking in factions and hardly there in Prophecies.

Hmm you learn something new everyday. Is there really a large Spanish GW community? I haven't wandered over there in Europe that much. Every once in a while I see somebody using spanish in PvP though.

I grew strong

Had to do it.

I like Tihark; it's a fun, relaxing mission. Never had much trouble with the mime, but then Ranger is one of my favorite classes.

Solo missions are dumb. 24 man missions are where it is at. Go go!

I found it a nice, relaxing thing to do after spending 2.5 campaigns constantly battling this or that, where the goal was to move from point A to point B killing everything you encounter. I wish they'd implement more like it.

I find it hilarious that there are actually people who quit the game over this or who are having so much trouble with the mime. I didn't think I was that fast of a typer, but maybe I've been comparing myself with the wrong people. Admittedly, I used the Wiki. I was going for Survivor on the first character I took that far, and I didn't want something unexpected to pop up and end it all. Heck, I read the tips even when I'm not using that character. Better safe than sorry. I know online games in general can be considered a "waste of time" but I'd really rather not have to use time that could be put into something else because of a stupid mistake.

Personally I think this was a great mission. Pity most of the ones after it were hell. I look forward to checking out the Bonus Mission Pack so I can see more of this, though I'm sure they'll have a bit of trouble comparing to a mission where the main goal is just to hang out. So relaxing.

Oh Tihark Orchard. Strangest mission ever.

Right.... The Lich, wuss. Shiro, Too easy. Abaddon, um.. no, Great Destroyer, meh...

That mime. *shudder* The destroyer of worlds has come. Run for your lives.

Then I was like, "Ooh, A Party!", so I took off all my armor and put on my Yule Cap, proceeded to get drunk and then killed by the 'Great' Zehtuka.

Fun times...

Ditto that

Hubby makes me help him with the emotes too We usually do most things together except maybe I do a little more of the grind
