I was in a Random Arena match last night and our team lost a match, one of the team members started to complain about no one using a res. I fired back telling the person to lay off and its only a game, after we were returned to the outpost he has the nerve to send an insult via Whisper then he puts himself on Do Not Disturb mode.

My Question is there any way to report them? I tried using /report XXX XXXXX but it doesn't seem to work in Random Arenas was there anything I'm missing? I hate these guys the most! I hope if arena.net doesn't have a option against them that they would add one.

If the person actually used offensive language towards you (and you didn't in your original comment to him) then you could send a report with screenshots via the 'Support' part of the Guild Wars website.

I'm not sure how far this would get, however- it just sounds like a heated discussion about how to play the game, there's no rules against someone disagreeing with you and then deciding not to talk to you.

Well first off I know how that guy feels when rezzing could have won a match but no one rezzed. I've stopped myself from raging at people though and just scream obscenities at them from behind the PC screen. It works better that way.

So wait, let me get this straight, you got a personal insult, and now you want to go cry to mommy... I mean Anet so he'll be punished? The very fact that you know he went to DnD mode means you tried to respond. So I'm guessing since you couldn't vent right back, you want to exact revenge a different way.

Yeah, that's not exactly mature on either of your parts. There's /ignore in the game for a reason.

Closing this thread before it degenerates any further into a flamefeast. If you have any concerns, you can lodge a support ticket of the incident with screenshots to Guild Wars support, other than that.. use /ignore on players that harrass/insult you (unless you want to see their comments...), as well as consider using the in-game filter if swearing, etc disturbs you.
