Exactly. They complained they couldn't use the online store last time and now that Anet has changed it making it available in stores they still complain. Some complain about the $10.00 price which is totally ridiculous. If you can't afford $10 for an addon then there is some issue you really need to fix.

This is true. I had coupons I could have used at a B&M. I think I would have ended up paying the same for everything...the only difference being that I would also now have a physical box.

I was holding back on the skill packs in case i needed to buy them to qualify for another promo run of BMP.....now depending on my budget on Jan 28th I may just buy them all outright.

In fact they should put the other special content from the past up (the limited edition auras and minipets) there too, they would make good cash from the online store like that.

Just take this as a learning experience. If Anet offers something as an "exclusive promotion" outside of a magazine, you'll be able to get it if you wait a few months, and save yourself a bit of coin.

Actually, no, I'm not upset at all about that. I just wished I had known it was going to happen. I would have bought a box instead of buying GWEN through the online store.

Well, as I said, this certainly has been an eye-opener for me. Call me QQ'er if you will. I'll just wait like the others from now on. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

We expected to only be able to buy this for a short while and did so to support ANet, knowing we'd be spending far more than in a retail store and missing out on the cool box. And also that Anet would probably make thrice the revenue off of our purchase than they would if someone bought from a store.

Wait. Pay $40 to get the box and pay $29 on something else in the store to get the BMP. So the solution is to have paid $69?
