Well we all have shared some embaresing times in GW i was wondering if
people wanted to share some of their most embarasing pvp (or GvG)
experiences.

Not quite embarassing but..

This one time in TA, I ran an N/R with 3 skills: Charm Animal, Comfort Animal, and Rez Sig. My team consisted of me, 2 monks, and a warrior.

We ended up facing 2 monks and an MM. It went 11:30, and we won flawless. My pet must have died 40 times, and gave them plenty of bone fiends to use on us. But we won.

Then they said we were noobs 'cause they were r3. lmao.

I'm so happy I got that fraps'd.

Flawless Victory +25 Faction, +25 Faction.

It was in the TA's, apparently thats all that team did was join and leave. Being nice I guess?

got 8 guys all pumped up to gvg. but they were all kinda new pvpers in the guild so we decided to find an unranked match before doing any ranked. so we find a team in HA looking for the same thing basically we are. so we get into the gvg and they have like 3 players and 4 hench. and we get smoked. twice. damn ranger trappers laying too many traps on the flag stand.

Random arenas, The Crag. One team member drops immediately at the beginning, the other goes "omfg n00b leaver" and promptly leaves. So I, a Warrior, am left with another Warrior against a full 4 people team with a monk.

Holy 7-6 win, Batman.

Ever had it reavealed that you forgot to bring a res sig after a long winning streak? It really sucks.

Heh, had that happen to me once. Only I was a monk and the other was a warrior. Crag is the best place in the game for badly handicapped or comeback victories. The TA priest map isn't bad either.

haha that may have been us...we had 1 guy crashing and we just left because we couldn't be bothered anymore...

weirdest pvp:
they had a mesmer with all interrupts and a ranger with all interrupts, they interruped literally EVERYTHING, any 1/4 second casts...no matter when...almost looked like interrupt hax or something :/

On a Underworld HA match once, our whole team got horrible lag or something. We couldn't use any skills or move without randomly popping up in places. Every once in a while I could manage to wand something. I think I put something in the chat and it appeared literally a minute later.

Somehow the other team was fine...

TA with guildies...

We played one match in bad shape, because our group leader for the session (I should have insisted on leading it, but oh well) was way too overeager to get started. I was stranded with meteor shower/glyph of renewal build, with the other two guys were in similar shape. We lost horribly.

So, back in the outpost, we say "don't go until we say we're ready", and I start setting up a geotank. I've just switched my attributes from fire to earth when I notice the little "entering mission in X" counter had reached 2. I yelled WAIT, and got a confused huh? from the leader for a reply. Zoning...

I arrived in the battle with no skills equipped, our ranger was weaponless, and our warrior had reskilled but not yet respecced. Our leader, the monk, was all set up though. He kept us around for a little while, before losing even worse than the first time...

in RA on my monk and ended up in a 4-monk team, one team took one look at us and instantly left, others would have a go at killing us and eventually gave up and left >.> just so happened that we were 2 prot 2 heal

2 good ones, both happened yesterday for some reason:

1) RA, we get the same thing as Shusky ... one person leaves, another goes "damn noob leaver" and leaves as well (hypocrit? anyway ...) I'm playing a touch ranger, and the other person is too. I asked "You leavin?" she says "nope" and we decide if we work together we can win. We beat the other team (1 monk, one necro, a warrior, and a ranger) ... we broke combat and ran when we needed energy/health, then returned to wreak havoc again once fully charged. It was great!

2) A friend that I HA with wanted me to guest GvG with his guild. Since the ladder is locked anyway, we just did it to get some faction and have some fun. There's a guy named Bryce (not full char name) that always does the most random crazy stuff you've ever seen ... and somehow we always manage to pull off a win. He kept firing the catapult when half our team was in their base, and at one point took off his armor and started fighting the team naked apart from an axe and a shield. We won that game flawless ... it was alot of fun

this one was amusing and happened the other night.

Cruising through HA running a hex build. Get to the 1st relic run (I forget the name) and we all get taken out by a newb eoe bomb, amusingly they also took out thier own resser but one of thier guys survived and starts running our relic, then our ghostly killed him with his bow, had to lol, anyway we ressed on 2 mins and then owned them. Too close for comfort tho.

I had a bunch of friends on during the preview that introduced the battle islands so I decided to show them GvG and we did a match. Well knew we were gonna get noobstomped because all except me and another guildy had hardly played GW and were using prebuilds.

At the start one of their members dropped, maybe it was an error or something. We were getting owned anyways when another guy from their team dropped. They were still crushing us so they just drove the hell outta us and pushed us into defense at our base.

So then me and one other guy are the only ones left that aren't dped out so we just stand next to the guild lord and say our prayers to dwayna that we may be spared when another of their team drops out. Then like 3 of their guys ragequit, maybe they thought we had a full team or something XD. So then here comes this lone necromancer charging at us and the guild lord and screaming like Leeroy Jenkins. Of course it didn't do him any good and he left after we killed him.

Strangest one was we were about to enter a GvG, and the guild list bugged one of our guild members out of the guild(no he did not quit) we went in and went to the flag stand stood there for about 2 minutes thinking hmm where is the enemy? Then all of a sudden we get 900 faction for a win + flawless. So the bugged guy restarts GW and comes back, we start a new GvG and the team was like we just versed you, you werent there. We said Um, no you didnt? But then we realized that they were the same name as the ghost guild.
