It's hard to fathom why there is such hate towards Signet of Midnight. It works well when you need a martial weapon enemy blinded (IE: Shiro). A warrior in our alliance runs this to hold aggro of Shiro at Gate of Madness. Makes that mission so much easier.

Ooo I'll have to try that build sometime. hehe
[skill]Savannah Heat[/skill] and [skill]Searing Flames[/skill] are good too, and I do like to use [skill]Sandstorm[/skill]. Oh, and let's not forget [skill]Grasping Was Kuurong[/skill] and [skill]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/skill]!

Perhaps, perhaps... I never discount anyone's build - always hated the concept that only a certain build could be considered acceptable - just not much for this one either through my own not using it correctly or what have you. Admittedly, when I play Air, it's against destroyers, so I'm running Blinding Surge
My heart will always be with fire, fire, fire - the Mark of Rodgort/SF/Glowing Gaze chain

-its a 1/2 speed attack, meaning scythe and hammer get added dps with it(sword and axe do as well, but they are usually fast enough under frenzy)
Only downside with it is if you suck at interrupt. Having problems getting to 9 adren, use adren boosters like "FGJ!". If you Enraging charge + "FGJ!" you get about 8 adren strikes.

Any class can stick it in their bar, yes, but I can't see anyone doing it because both Assassin and Dervish builds rely heavily on their much better elites in most cases.
It's Adrenaline based, but it costs 9 adrenaline. Taking a bunch of adrenaline pump skills for the sole reason of building up the adrenaline required for this skill means failure, a bunch of damage skills will be much, much more effective in the long run.
Interrupts any action? sorry, not a reason to take this.
Hammers get +dps once in 15-20 seconds? sorry, not a reason to take this.
And please don't tell me like some idiot in wiki did that 9 strikes of adrenaline charge in less than 15 seconds, therefore SC>BHA. Obviously that guy tested this on a dummy in great temple of balthazar and still doesn't realize why it makes his 'research' pointless.
Another bad elite- Signet of Spirits. Why should I ever take this over Offering of Spirit, please explain?
Good elite- Restore Condition.

i'll do all the BAD skills (atleast that I think) for each class.
Warrior:
[skill]Defy Pain[/skill]
this screams "TANKING IS GOOD! YES TANK. TANK TANK TANK "
ewww.
[skill]Headbutt[/skill]
this is a waste. you hit a good bit, but then dazed for a long time? you could do x3 the damage of Headbutt in the time you are dazed...
[skill]"Coward!"[/skill]
better ways to knock down a foe than wasting 4 adrenaline...
Ranger:
[skill]Burning Arrow[/skill]
i really need to explain?
[skill]Crippling Shot[/skill]
too much like other cripples.
[skill]Equinox[/skill]
totally *doesn't* screw up a friendly ele at all...
[skill]Melandru's Resilience[/skill]
when would this be necessary??
[skill]Quick Shot[/skill]
...wtf...what does x2 speed do for you?
Monk:
[skill]Unyielding Aura[/skill]
lol. why would you use this?
[skill]Withdraw Hexes[/skill]
worst hex remover for a monk, imho.
[skill]Healing Hands[/skill]
boo, wammo supporting skill!
[skill]Amity[/skill]
why would you cast this? if you are near enemies, you would almost always attack them. i guess this would work for solo'ing... sorta?
[skill]Mark of Protection[/skill]
basically a Reversal of Fortune - that lasts 2 more seconds and disables your skills. woot.
[skill]Shield of Regeneration[/skill]
regen never works, imho. also this has bad energy cost... i guess +40 armor is worth it to some people?
[skill]Balthazar's Pendulum[/skill]
lol. enough said.
Necromancer:
[skill]Order of Undeath[/skill]
somewhat suicide...
i didn't see anything else... >.>
Mesmer:
[skill]Panic[/skill]
biggest waste of energy. and what person would use signets regularly besides a mesmer/monk?
[skill]Psychic Distraction[/skill]
8 seconds can make or break you...
[skill]Signet of Illusions[/skill]
why would you use this? I don't see why...
[skill]Tease[/skill]
bad because of "touched foe".
Elementalist:
[skill]Ether Prodigy[/skill]
can turn out badly...
[skill]Energy Boon[/skill]
you gain energy for what exhaustion takes away (at base). you gain energy 18energy just so 10 go into exhaustion.
[skill]Second Wind[/skill]
lol. the description says it all.
Dervish:
[skill]Avatar of Balthazar[/skill]
it isn't bad, but whoever uses it for PvP = a failure.
[skill]Zealous Vow[/skill]
i think a -4 energy regen negates the 1...4 energy per hit. so basically you are wasting energy.
Ritualists:
couldn't find anything that was horrible...
Assassin and Paragon:
not going to bother. I don't know assassins or paragons at all. (atleast I admitted it).

Yes, I really need you to explain why [skill]Apply Poison[/skill] + [skill]Burning Arrow[/skill] doesn't own most targets, especially in almost-monkless AB. Oh wait...
[skill]Crippling Shot[/skill] Did you read the second part of that skill? Although in PvE, this is not as important, but in PvP this skill is used a lot because it is unblockable.
I recently discovered [skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] and have no clue why I didn't use this before. This is the best e-management in the game IMO.

Hmm, perhaps I'm just a really bad GW player, but I disagree with Rexion's views on certain elites.

Your ranger badge has been revoked. Try PVP as a ranger someday.

Ummm...allow you to jack up Illusion and be able to use that attribute for good spells in other attributes? It means ALL other spells as well, not just mesmer. Kind of useful for necro or ele skills, huh? Nice 5 second recharge, huh?
For me.... [skill]archer's signet[/skill] Unless it's for a cap, who cares?
Since the addition of [skill]expert focus[/skill] [skill]prepared shot[/skill] is sex. I load the bar with high E skills and still never drop below 20E. Beautiful.

No, Rexion mostly doesn't know what he's talking about.
