Skill hunter comes no where near close to Legendary Vanquisher. You do know what that is right? You have to kill every foe in every explorable area in HM. You can cap skills in normal mode or whilst you vanquish. And skill capping you don't even have to kill many foes to get to alot of bosses.
UMMMM, me thinks you didn't read all my post.

So
{(current xp-182600)/15000}+23 = virtual level. I think that is right. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.
My ele has 9,960,853xp
9,960,853xp-182600=9778253
9778253/15000=651+23=Level 674
Seems a bit high really.
And I have a low xp compared to alot of the Vets out there.
Just figure out your virtual level and be happy .

I still have to say that Legendary Vanquisher is not a good measure of skill, you can clear most maps with just heros and hench.
Quests can be far more difficult than vaquishing since many have to be completed before you have all the best equipment/skills availible.
Wheather a quest is done on normal mode or hard mode they all require more skill than mindlessly slaying everything on a map. Take Mineral Springs for an example. Vanquishing there is relatively easy, however doing the Titan quest there can be much harder and requires more skill.

I completely disagree with you on this. Vanquishing is a massive time commitment. You can't just "rampage" from mob to mob like normal mode. You have to understand agro, skill combo, h/h control (if using) and have a lot of time.
The vanquishing title is one of the few PvE title that you can't buy. When I finally get it done it will be seen under my character name. For now its gonna be my Legendary Skil Hunter. To bad that is loosing value.

Time spent has absolutely zero relation to actual difficulty. Making a title take a long time to get doesn't make it harder, only more boring.

Yes, that one might be better still, forgot about it. The point was to have some measure of competence in facing and handling different situations. Any title gained through grinding (repeating the same thing) is not adequate. Going through every area, facing different (high level) foes would be better. Skill hunter matches, vanquishing even more

That takes skill, selecting team build, preparing heroes, commanding them, takes perhaps more skill then doing it with a human group and at least you'd have an even wider grasp of the different professions.
But quests sounds good too.

I was responding to a statement about being from one end of Tyria to another. Facing a large amounts of diverse foes. And I believe LV covers that. But I injected some opinion about the value of the title. Which is what it is opinion. Let me explain a little more.
Ok when looking at titles one has to consider perspective. From the perspective of outside looking in, sure none of the PvE titles really mean anything except to the person who has them. You have spent alot of time in the game either leeching or doing it yourself. Regardless of what one thinks time is a factor in PvE and PvE titles. It is NOT the only factor in judging it's value but one none the less. I think maybe the only titles that cannot be leeched or purchased maybe Champion and Commander. But that is for another debate.
Now looking from the persepective inside. In other words comparing the titles to each other. From the PvE side imho LV is the highest rank. Even if you think HM is just c-space you still have to put some thinking into LV. You can't just load a set of heros in and pick some skills and think that will get you through all the world of Tyria. I know I've been vanq'ing for a while now and it's not that easy. Personally I don't think HM is c-space. Maybe some specifc areas can be but not all. This would also apply to LGaurdian and LSkillHunter. But LG/LSH doesn't take you to every corner of Tyria and expose you to the largest amount of foes. They are good titles and rank high compared to other PvE titles. But I say not as high as LV.
But how does this relate to the original topic. Well in response to some people wanting a new title to count quest because it could judge skill. My point is it wouldn't be anymore of a skill badge than LV and that LV would already tell that you've been everywhere, and faced every foe in Tyria in a glance. Of course this means you have to think any title show skill. Which I don't because they can be farmed, leeched or purchased.
There is no way to tell skill with a glance at anyone in the game. It's gonna take several sessions of doing one thing or another with someone to know how much they know the game. We can want our real levels to show but it would not gauge skill level. Even PvE titles aren't a good measuring stick. But if we have to choose one I think LV is the best one out of all of them showing that you have bee to every corner in the Tyrian world and seen a large diverse group of foes with dfferent skills you have to plan for.
