hi, everyone, i am bored again and decided to do a thread. i am sure that everyone have sold or brought items from other player before. so, i am wondering what ur best bought/sold item(s) base on the value of the item. in other words, what item u got the best deal for; for example let say item X is worth in the range of 50-75k but u either sold it for 100k or bought it for like 15k, or like the sword that i saw someone who asked for a pc on the pc thread, which, if i remember, correctly, is a long sword, unconditional for dirt cheap, something like 170k. so pretty much show ur haggling skills or luck. plz be nice and truthful, and plz no flame anyone that post here. if u have a screen shot to proof ur nice purchased/sold item that be great but no need, so i am just counting on everyone be truthful about there transaction.

the only requirement is the item was not bought/sold on guru but in game. reason why i say that is because IMO item in game are usually either overprice /underprice. while price on item on this website is pretty much on point of their true values.

so, here my personal best purchase: req 8 broadsword 15^50 uninscriable max dmg, bought before nightfall came out for 70k, which the price i got pc'ed on the pc forum for like 100K +ecto(forgot exactly plus how many ecto think it was 20ish) that was back when ecto was around 7-9k, i think

so tell/show us urs

Here is the chain of events, not one word of a lie...

Saw a purple Crystaline sword R12 max pop out of the chest in FoW and asked the guy if he was willing to sell it. He said the skin was ugly so he would. I said how much he said an ecto and a shard would help with his armor so I bought the sword.

Kept the sword for a good long while, then found a guy spaming WTS purple max sword with pre searing skin in Ascalon city. He was selling a R10 Crystaline for 5K, so i bought it ans sold my old purple crystaline for 100K in Lions arch.

Oh its not over yet

My friend had a crystaline R10 14^50 drop for him so he offers to sell it to me for 70K. Before I said yes I went to Lion's Arch and posted WTS purple cryst sword and recieved an offer of 75K almost at once. So I made both trades.

Oh and if anyone has a R10 inscribed Crystaline they wish to trade for an Onyx and Diamond.....

Have a few but one stood out for me...was playing through rasiu palace when i saw someone using a crystalline i asked if they were selling they said they werent sure so i had a look at it after the game it was purp r10 14% stance max dmg...i asked how much and they said 1k not knowing how much it was worth....i resold 1 month later for 100k+20e

Bought a req.9 +5 energy Broadsword from a spambot in Kamadan ID1 for 30k and sold it for 75k

Bought a req.9 +5 energy Chaos Axe for 23k from a spambot and sold it for 70k.

Nothing compared to what other's have done. I would feel guilty about what I did if it were normal players on the recieving end instead of botters.

Bought a req 9 15^50 gold max stormbow non-inscript, back when they were worth something for 10k. Re-sold for 100k + 15 ecto 2 days later.

Bought mini water djinn for 45k, resold for 100k + 20 ecto.

ok here it goes, this is a quite a long chain,

i started playing as FoW and Greens were introduced into the game, I bought a non maxed shadow bow 14-27 purple with dingy mods for 750 gold, sold it for 10k then bought a gold req10 +14%stance wingblade sword for 3k traded it for a grognar's blade and at the time they were about 60k, i turned around and sold this for 100k, note that i had been playing for maybe 3 days and was level 7 and had not yet left the ascalon area, I bought a purple +14%^50 fellblade req9 for 10k and resold for 70k, then I played through the game a little more and got to LA and bought a HoD sword for 5k and resold for 100k because it was the time when they were taken out of the game, then I found some guy selling an ultra rare bow for 30k and bought a req 8 +15^50 stormbow from him and resold it for 900k which was there going price at the time by this time I was like level 14-15 so i got myself run to droks and got maxed armor and dyed it white

I smell a lot of bovine excrement.

Excuse my skepticism but I find your claims hard to believe. You started around the time when greens were introduced and the HoD crafter was changed (2005) yet you got a run to Droks and dyed your armour white when white was only introduced in 2007 or something.

I was in RA one day and this guy said in local chat "Hey, how much is a Water Djinn Mini pet worth?" and i responded, in local chat with "i'll take it off your hands for 5k".. i wasnt being serious- i just wanted to say something. A little later i get a pm from the guy saying he would sell it to me for 5k, and i promptly agreed. I even told him that it was worth about 100k at the time, and he said he didnt care, he just wanted to trade it.

Later that night i sold it for 100k 22e

You could dye your armor white with silver dyes and different combos back in the day. you didnt need white dye.

Well, i was selling an Elite Dervish Tome 7k, to then purchase an Elite Rit Tome.
I get a PM, someone offers me a req 9 Gloom Shield. I respond "Wtf? Are you kiddin?"
The person just says again "are you willing to trade for a Gloom Shield?".
So i just said okay, they said "you can even keep the +30 mod on it". Just the mod is worth more than the tome lol.
I said thank you very much, and they just said they'd rather have something useful than the shield which had just dropped.
I think the person was just having a charitable day, and it was my lucky day! Although i lost Survivor about 30 mins before on my Rit, LOL.
Still have the shield, and using it

Bought 44/-2 req 9 zodiac shield when factions came out for 10k buy i tnow sold it for 100k+10e
Bought req 9 15^50 Celestial sword in lions arch for 15k I was then whispered after I bought it from the guy who said HA HA I Bought that for only 10k! It was funny as hell ^^ telling him I could sell for 100k easy XD.

Bought amber aegis for 80k have gotten offers of over 100k+50e no I didnt sell it though :P
