-two weapon fighting, two handed weapons (spear/sword and whatnot)
-night/day (NPC/quests only available during nighttime, having to have a torch to have a decent visibility but making you visible to patrols )
-rain/snow etc more realistic, maybe having a lil effect on gameplay
-custom hero? what if i want an Ele Charr instead of this character i dont like?
-in game voices for NPCs/Heroes/Spellcasters ? their battle quotes are fun but most of the time you cant see em
-more realistic towns (towns got no houses/streets in GW) with more interraction (you cant even open a crate or break a barrel ^^)
-100% separate PVP/PVE and for the updates as well, a skill nerfed in PVP should remain untouched in PVE, unless necessary
-Ranger uses arrows, show us the quiver ^^ looks ridiculous
-REAL quest reward: an hour long quest rewards you with xp and 200g, opening a chest will get you more just by waking out of a town for a sec. Cmon, "saving the world" for a greeny and a right to buy an armor is hilarious. Or "thx for cleaning the dungeon full of demons, here's a beer and a candy"

I think some environement effects could be great.
I mean, a time (day, night...) and random rains in tempered climate towns/outpost like ascalon city, pre and post searing, lions arch... but not in desert-like places like anmoon oasis, kamadan etc....
And there could be other good environement effects but i can't think about all of them now.

Some random quests along the lines:
Priest on the Island of Balthazar "You must locate and destroy the Book of Orr. It has been seperated into 10 pages given to minions of an UNKNOWN new foe that wishes to transform him/her self into a LICH!"
You have to search in certain maps for the bosses with the pages, however there are 2 bosses per map, one with the page and one without. If you kill the wrong one the other escapes. Recovering 1 page is sufficient to locate the final boss, once all other minons are fought. Recovering all 10 pages means you stop the transformation and fight the UNKNOWN in its current form. Miss any one page and a new lich is formed, power lvl based on number of missed pages. The maps each of the pages is on changes each time you aquire the quest. Reward based on number of pages aquired and time needed to kill final boss. Maps in question would have fewer foes, more of a hide and seek rather than vanquish the map type of questing.

As an exclusively PvE player this used to be my wet-dream!

Interesting idea - when you get so frustrated that your endless grind isn't getting you anywhere you could go up one point in the Unmaxable Title Title Track.

Allow PvE only skills on heroes. (So I can use my own templates on them without having to wonder what skill got lost.)
Allow 7 heroes. (So I can fiddle with team builds to my hearts desire without having to wonder if I'll find someone to try them out with me.)
Allow to put multiple pet's on a skillbar.

As others have said - untether PvP.
Universal character options - particularly height, as it's currently a nightmare trying to figure out how tall your toon is going to be next to others.
Burn all gates and provide transportation options to non-walkable areas.
Delete certain titles (off the top of my head: Defender, Survivor, KoaBD). Adjust others - maybe have cartographer involve visiting specific locations of interest, on each map, to get it uncovered. End wall-hugging.
Kill any GW:EN NPC that doesn't lose that "you're not high enough for me to deal with" attitude.
Account wide everything - including heroes, I'm sick to death of typing /bonus, I'd be even sicker if I didn't have pre-order weapons to stuff them with.
Birthday mini's on GW's birthday, not our toons. Or at least give the newest set on all toons birthdays, so new toons aren't left with pets any player can pick up for a few K.
Do something like costume ball in the newbie arenas. I often forget about them whilst leveling and by the time I remember, I can't play in them anymore.
I think that's everything that bugs me covered.

Yes, it's basically a list of things which have been suggested time and time again in Sardelac which Arenanet will have no intention of ever implementing...but...we can still dream.

really, i mean they are 'cool' and all but they're really pointless. You can't do anything with it and ppl pay hundreds of Ks for it.
Dual shield wielding (ultra tough tank huh? )
also, as i'm an ele at heart, why do i cast obsidian flesh and my flesh is still...well...pink? should affect me in another way than just having a white cloud circling around. The best effect=description is [skill]immolate[/skill] atm.
Mind freeze should place the target's head in a block of ice, Icy shackles...where are they sorry?
