Maybe a week after the event there'll be a collector that takes 25 crates and gives us a sparkler mini pet.

There has never been anything special about the last-final event. The "finale" is the visit from the rat every 3 hours. The "something different" is the crate of fireworks.

A guild that supplies the chefs with the stuff they need, all for free and anyone can join, if you dont feel like becoming the rat, join them on various international districts.

This screenshot was taken at around 8:50pm EST. Someone asked if all we get is the Lion Helm. She responded with what I posted. it could all be lies I dunno.
Edit: yeah I guess it is the crappy crate

I assume so. Considering it is a Sunday here, and I have a life to tend to on Mondays, I cannot afford to stay up till 3AM - nor can I go afk as DVDF posts their districts 15 mins before each finale.

I guess that's what having a fee to join DVDF is for. Providing ingredients to randoms. Is it worth it guys?
End gift will be Celestial Pigs for everyone, or Celestial Rats, or something equally useless. Like every event Anet have run.

Well she probably meant the crate, as these events never have a real, different finale other than the repeated ones we get every 3 hours (or less or more).
Gaile gave a reason for that back in the day too; roughly about how the server doesn't get closed after the event (unlike BWEs which all had real finale) so it doesn't make sense to have such thing.

What the hell do you expect ANet to provide?
Tormented Weapons?

No, but there's no point expecting something special or cool. Anet won't do it.
