I remember when I first explored Talmark Wilderness and ran into those huge groups of skale milling around by the beach, and the mobs of fire imps up north with a boss thrown in for good measure. They wiped me and my woefully unprepared party of henchies a couple times.

The Skales are in groups of 3-5 ect.
Bob skales? - BOG skales
You should be glad they reduced the numbers of them when EotN came out then. Becouse of the "crack" in the mountainside were you enter, used to swarm of BOG skales there. (shame they are gone)

i think the OP was exaggerating a little..just to make a point there were lots.
by your post i am sure he knows his spelling error...wow a typo get over it..
so he is new maybe we should be less critical and be more helpful...sheesh

Bob skales ftw.
But a simple henchie/hero monk with you in NM should be no problem.

Yes, after being spiked by 3 or 4 of them, I no longer consider 500+ health safe for a survivor. I was so close to legendary to...

Really? I have more trouble with Craig Behemoths, Ike imps, and occasionally in Gw:en i have problems with the Angeladons. Oh and don't get me started on those Barbara Grawls in Talus Chute!

The OP is a level 20 from Nightfall? And has problems with Bog Skales?
See, this is why running people through the game on their first character is bad.

Getting to level 20 in Factions/NF is hardly difficult. You can be around level 20 before leaving the noob islands.
However, saying that a lvl20 Dervish should kills lvl11's with 1 swipe of their scythe. OP is prob just a bad weekend player/bad build builder.

One thing that is leading to so many flames here is the fact that those of us that started with Prophicies understand that this part of the game is generally reached by the time your char is lvl 13-16.
Many of us actually had to slug our way through these mobs at lvl 10-13 on our first chars that moved a little to fast through the game thanks to the massive number of pugs available back then.
The learning curve in prophicies is the longest and in many ways the best to prepare players to face overpowered mobs later in the game or other chapters.

Pretty sure there is a skill called Protective Spirit. Pretty sure there is also a skill called Save Yourselves! Either of those makes you invincible.

They rarely go in parties of more than 3.
They are more a nuisance than a trouble.

Also watch out for Jim Skales and Greg Skales as they will take you out in one hit.
Thanks for the warning. There are probably runes are something to help with the burning from Imps and maybe a hero with some condition removals against the Bob Skales.
