Back when HoH determined who had favor, lots of farmers had one American account and one Euro account, so they could always farm.

I have 2 accounts. I rarely play the second one, but it holds my Luxon guild so I can guest myself and friends whenever I want.

There was also the problem with the way the old favour system worked. I bought my second account and based it on US servers purely so that I could farm UW whether Euro or US had favour.

EDIT Damn too slow

Now it's just a mule account.

I have 3 accounts. My main account, my "play with my bro account" and my "why did i buy this?" account.

The 2nd one is bascially to play with my bro and he wanted us to play fairly. No max armor on lvl 2s no 10000k on a lvl 3 no 400 bones on a lvl 5 ect... and the 3rd one was an accident, i was browsing through amazon and bought it. Being an idiot i didnt make it Korean xD!

I am a Packrats and when I started playing GW 3 years ago the only way to keep all the Gold/Greens Items I have (I am big into farming as is my Guild) was to have a second account.
I also like trying all the professions to see what I like and when HoH determined who had favor one account was US the other was Euro account (have friends in UK and the Netherland who I farm with still).

So you see 2 accounts 14 characters (all 20es) per account and all my PVP characters double as Mules.

I think an account is limited to 35 slots, I'm at that number and can't add more

4 from prophecies
2 from factions
3 from nightfall (+ prerelease bonus)
+ 26 bought

To have more slots back at the time when you couldn't buy more.
To be able to trade both in Europe and America before you could change districts.
To be able to go to the realms from both Europe and America back then.
To store more money and items.
To run yourself places.
To gain multiple rewards from the Xunlai tournament house.
To gain multiple rewards from special events.
To let a friend play the game with you before they buy it.
To control or be in more than one guild.
To raise minipet incubators.
To know that if your main account get hacked and stripped you'll have enough money from the other account to get new stuff.
To know that if you're gonna get banned, even for a couple of days, you could still log in, play a bit, tell your friends, etc.

Well i have 2 accounts... that are mine.

account #1 My Main-All 4games.
#2 My other account-Just Proph. ( i kinda stopped using it)
#3My friends account that i sometimes play-all 4 games
#4 old account Got hacked. So i obviously don't play anymore-Nf, Proph ,fac.

#5 A account i bought for Ig money ( i know i know it was when i fist started playing...lets just say i didnt read the user agreement)

#6 My friends brother old account only played once-proph

atm, i have 5 account..

- Main account
- 1 account for my brother
- 3 Mule account (2 of my friend quit playing GW so it was given to me:P)

Used to have 6 but I given my 6th to my online friend.

Duo farm UW with a smiter monk on the other account and get 100% ecto drop, that was my reason. When ectos were between 8k - 11k, I made a few millions in a couple of days that way.

I got a second account at the start of '06 since I just wasn't happy with just 4 slots as I wanted to play all professions. I proceeded to get Factions for both accounts, trying to spread my time between both of them but eventually came to spend all my time on the one account.

When more character slots became available I donated my second account to my brother. Unfortunately he only played for a few months and stopped playing about a year ago, so now I steal his minipets.

You have spent £155.74 on characters, plus buying the games themselves. Imagine if you woke up tomorrow and you were banned?

I couldn't possibly have done something wrong that would cause being banned

Account 1 - 11 pve (1 of each + 2nd Mesmer) and 3 spare for the odd pvp games
