guess its been awhile since someone asked this.

4 are my original tyrian toons...then last year made another so 5 tyrians (and one tyrian mule hanging in ascalon as well as one pre-sear necro)
6 canthans (and 6 mules)
5 elonians (and 3 mules).

16 are level 20 (all but the mules and the pre-sear). 7 have finished prophecies, 9 have finished factions (one has the palace and shiro to do to finish), and 7 have completed nightfall. 6 have all their primary and secondary skills (I dont change secondaries). 1 has level 1 koabd, 2 are 2 short of it.
I play them ALL, except one that is working on level 3 survivor (my dsl has been flakey and I dont want to die of lagg)...some days I like to play mesmer, other days I want to kill with my hands so my warrior gets play time, some days I play mm (ugh...my least favorite to play other than healing monk, my monks all smite).....
off the 16..3 are eles, 3 are monks, 3 are mesmers, 2 are necros (one ss, one mm), 2 rits (one male one female), one warrior, one ranger, and one paragon.
(my mules have the dervishes -2, necros -2, eles -2, sin -1, monk -2, ranger -1)

11- One of each profession for PvE, and now a second ranger. I can see myself getting more slots and having 2 of everything, either gender. I loves armour too much.

And one free slot for PvP/messing about.

Warrior, ele, mesmer(these 3 also serve as mules).

4 pve. Only play 1 thoigh. Others I havent used in months. 3 of them i consider to be complete though. They have runes, good amount of skills etc. The other (mes) I just cba to play. Will probably delete him.

Also have 1 pvp which will be there forever. he just passed his first birthday.

I have 10 for all Professions.

All have the needed skills to go PVE and PVP. All have finished all 3 campaigns and eotn, so I used all of them from time to time and its a hell transferring items stored in each characters. But my rit is the main man now so the transferring items had ease.

But maybe Ill get 2 more for mules and PVP chars.

I think its a lot easier with few characters, but I wanted a Sin, Para, and Necro, and I already had a Derv and War with elite armor so havnt deleted them, besides, 2 extra minis a year ^^.

I have 1 main that I play about 75% of my time and 95% of my cash on.

1 monk (55 and other monking duties)
1 ranger
1 mesmer (still balling around shing jea, but awsome none the less)
1 Assasin (mule atm)
1 Paragon

3 PVE slots

my PVP monk already has 1 birthday ^^

I only have one character. I will probably make more characters, but no more than the default number of slots I get. I feel that this game is an RPG, not strategy. It's all about ur character. I don't see how those people who have over 8 characters can even keep track of them all. I mean, some people make a character for the sole purpose of farming or doing a very specific type of mission/killing a specific type of monster. I don't see how the game can be an RPG anymore. That's just my opinion.
