Bag - all drops - with a zho's book at the last slot so i don't overclick and sell stuff in bag
Belt - nice drops i get golds, ecto etc along with a ID kit
bag1 - headgears
bag2 - weaponry
Storage:
1 - weapons i find that are nice
2 - random stuff
3 - tomes + extra armor
4 - dyes, id kits , consumables
crafting - my holiday items, DUH

Tab 1: Salvage and Identification kits (keep one set for everyone), Main's spare armor
Tab 2: EotN collector drops (or whichever campaign I am currently playing more)
Tab 3: Spare weapons
Tab 4: Runes and Inscriptions
Mule 1: Dyes, weapon mods, holiday stuff
Mule 2*: Tomes
Mule 3*: Factions collector drops
Mule 4*: Nightfall collector drops, Minipets
Mules 2,3 and 4 are played as well.
Main: Weapon swaps, game affecting consumables, EotN books.

Tab 3: Weaponry I'm too lazy to keep moving on mules, tomes, stacks of materials
Tab 4: Necro and monk armors + headgear, since I play them often these days
Mules:
Mule 1: Armor
Mule 2: Collectable/stackable drops
Mule 3: Weapons, inscriptions, stuff I want to sell

Every character has an ID kit and Salvage Kit as their first two items, in that order. Past that, it changes. Here's how my main's set up:
Backpack: ID Kit, Salvage Kit, loot.
Belt Pouch: Weapons, Dragon Mask, Rollerbeetle. A handbook or two, if there's room.
Bag 1: Two Armor Sets
Bag 2: Loot. Also carries handbooks, consumables, or extra ID or Salvage Kits, depending on how low my current one is and if I think I can use it up on all the loot I'll get.
Storage Tabs:
I: ID Kits, Superior Salvage Kits, Exp Scrolls, Lockpicks, Consumables.
II: Party Animal/Sweet Tooth/Drunkard items.
III: Dye and Tomes. Minipets if there's room.
IV: Everything else. Includes trophies, minipets, upgrades, and inscriptions.
I have one character with just about their entire inventory full of salvage materials. My other mules haven't been accessed enough recently for me to remember what they're hauling.

Tab 4: Even more Armor
But i might put all those armors (i got 16 armor sets) on a mule.. so i can actually take more things with me.. xD

Bag 2 contains my alternative weapons. The very first few slots in my inventory are my ID and Salvage kits. The last 5 slots (or 10, depends on my mood) are different armor sets in case I get bored.

characters usually have in the backpack id kit and salvage, weapons from the weapons tabs....some have a mini or hat too.
pouch empty.
bag 1 and 2 have other armor sets, other weapons, some have the materials for the next armor set (that way I dont use the spot for something else).
inventory
tab 1 2 rows of collectible items from nf, bottom line collectible items from eye. (the rest of the collectible stuff from nf has been moved to a mule)
line 3 is empty or has recently obtained-not ided gold items, or ones that I am trying to get better mods for.
tab 2 has extra materials-less than 250 for crafting things (wood, iron, cloth, dust, hides). map pieces from eye, trade contracts-nf, insignias or runes and a few free spaces (sometimes). (when I get 250 of those items its moved to a mule---still have more rare materials to craft and some armor for my newer characters).
tab 3 has weapons that I am eagerly trying to get to heroes so I have some free spots...
tab 4 is all collectible stuff from eye (patches of fur, spider legs, charr carvings....etc--the WHOLE thing)---the rest is in tab 1 or on a mule
I have one whole mule of materials, and another for collectibles from eye and nf (plus a few from prophecies)....I have other mules with extra armor and ones for the holiday stuff/sweets/alcohol , one just for stuff that you cant get anymore (and pre items)--jade orbs etc..
