1. stragety, rpg, adventure, but also love an occasion fps (pc based)

My Ps3 has a keyboard and mouse

and that wonderful SplitFish FX "mouse" controller.

I only play Dwarf Fortress in addition to Guild Wars, I think all games released over the past years are terribly boring and similar.

After playing one shooter you've seen them all, after racing one lap you've had them all, after conquering some nation you've had them all.

Dwarf Fortress is different.

And I love the retro games.

Ishar, Albion, Crusader, HiOctane, Dungeon Keeper, Populous, High Seas Trader...

1. CoD4 and WC3 right now, fps / strat / rpg

Looking at the stack of cd's by my pc I've got strategy and tactical type stuff mostly; Tycoon type games (railroad, roller coaster, zoo, etc), all of the Total War games, Myst, Riven, several star wars, star trek, and sports titles. Although currently I play mostly GW and Guitar Hero/Rock Band on the PS.

I have one of each class except assassin. Don't have time for another profession....yet.

Sadly I can no longer afford to buy many games or get the new 'leet' and fun consoles

But I do/did love the Resident Evil games, and other games of that type. The Buffy games on xbox. GT. GTA. Dead or Alive. Some sports games. Couldn't get into RPG, it's just not my thing. Tried Final Fantasy, didn't like it. Morrowind...bored to tears very quick. And FPS I just can't do, Halo2 will stay gathering dust as I get bored of it very quickly. There's probs hundreds more, but my memory is not what it used to be ^^

PC wise I only ever really played Sim games like The Sims, and Simcity. I also like the Theme games, and Tycoon games (kinda lame, but meh). And Civ. Never played anything online until GW and since have played WoW (for a while but it just takes too much time), and just peeked into the world of EVE via the free trial.

I guess my tastes are pretty eclectic so my characters choices don't really seemed based on them. I've played all classes, and though I have my faves, I don't see myself ever just sticking to one. I like collecting diff armor too much

Before Guild Wars I played games such as Starcraft, Diablo1&2, Dungeon Siege1&2, Neverwinter Nights, FFXI Online, Age of Empires series and WOW
(6 months).

Other than Guild Wars , I play Hellgate and beta testing Mythos. Can't Wait for Guild Wars 2 to come out

FPS (well, only Crysis), Adventure, MMOs, RPGs, Strategies. They only games I don't play are racing games and sports games.

No, my choices on classes in MMO are normally based on what I think sounds cool at the time. for instance I play a druid in WoW because I thought shapeshifting would be awesome. Turns out i love the class, but shapeshifting isn't the reason.

When I was 7-10 - I played Diablo 2.

10-11 - Warcraft 3.

11-12 - World of Warcraft

12-14 - Guild Wars

I played all of those online, basically because offline is so boring compared to online =\

- Exploring adventures where you move in third persona single character over a huge world: Shadowman, Legacy of Kain saga, Metroid, Castlevania...
-RPGs where your direct a party of 3 or more characters and you lear new habilities and such over time: Final Fantasy saga, Summoner, Baldur's Gate, Vampire The Masquerade Redemption, Nevewinter Nights...
- Mixes of the two previous ones: Tron 2.0, Deus Ex, Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, Gothic...

2. No. When I can choose I ALWAYS choose the nuker to play. In GW my main character is an Elementalist. And I have one character of each profession.
