A bad player is a player that uses those ridiculous gloves and bandanas and dye them black just to use the most expensive dye.
And also a bad player pays ridiculous ammounts of gold for "rare" itens (no matter how ridiculous they look) and expose them to other players and consider other players with more "common" itens inferior and pathetic.
And also dont realize how idiotic and stupid they look with such itens.
AKA: Warriors with bandanas, gladiator's torso, obsidian leggings and boots and dragon gloves, all dyed black (we can all imagine the picture)

In my opinion, there are multiple ways to become labeled as a "bad player".
I, for one, am a bad player because my reaction time isn't all that great, nor do I pay enough attention to what's going on, even though I know exactly what I should be doing and how I should be doing it.
Others are bad players because they won't learn or listen to more experienced players. These are the players who love to never use logic in any situation.
Yet even more bad players are those who are incredibly good at this game, but would rather condescend than help a less experienced player who is willing to learn,
etc...

But it does say something...I have already beaten Vizunah Square, so it's not like I am struggling through and need their help.

No such thing as a bad player, only one who has not had as much experience compared to others who have been playing a long time.

People who lack common sense. Those who have the ability/desire to adapt, learn, be aware (team and self) and think critically will gradulally improve on their own. I feel like these people are a very, very small percentage of the players in guild wars.

You do know noob is slang for newbie?
# (link / top) Short form of newbie, someone who is new to RPGs. Also written as “n00b.”

# Newbie. Someone new to a computer related topic.

# A person new to a concept or game. This is often used in chat as an insult against other players in a game (ex: "You're such a fracking NOOB"), but can be used in the gentler form to relay your inexperience (ex: "Hi, I'm sorry, but I'ma newbie at this. Can you please help me?")

# The word newbie is used mostly in Internet gaming culture. Its definition is to be new to something, mainly video games or an internet service. There are variant spellings, such as newb, n00b, nob, noob and nub, although noob is sometimes used as another definition.

To me, a bad player is someone who knowingly and repeatedly hinders the fun for other players and shows absolutely no remorse for it.
Also noob is a ridiculous word and nobody should say it much less argue what their definition of it is. Ever.

I don't care what kind of armor an assassin has....they could be encased in marble and be invincible and do 1,000,000,000 dps.....if they are assassin, they don't get into my party because assassins suck. I won't even accept an assassin if that is all that is available. When ever that happens I just log off. I don't even talk to assassins because anyone who plays one must be a real loser in real life too.
I wouldn't even accept an assassin in my party if I were PAID in REAL CASH to do it. Not for any amount of money...to do so would engender being called a n00b.

a bad player would b the guy who just posted a thread telling everyone how great he is and how he is going to kill us
unfortunately a mod either moved the thread to someplace where no one will ever find it or deleted it which makes me sad cuz it was funny

That's not the definition of NOOB/NEWBIE where I come from.
NOOB = Idiot Moron Stupid Dumb Ignorant Retard Loser
NEWBIE = New to the game or experience: Just beginning to learn (they have a short period of time to catch on about 2 weeks and if they haven't by then then they are moved up in ranks to NOOB!) <grin>
Sorry, but, wiki isn't the be all know all of definitions and what they mean if you believe that then YOU are a NOOB! haha

A noob is someone who refuses to learn and take advice. If someone is willing to listen to a more experienced player than they have a chance to not be bad.

And Faure, that is not the correct definition of "noob" and "newb." Noob is an isult. Newb is a new player.
Words can have connotactions that go beyond the actually meaning. For example, if you look up the word "cold" and the word "chilly" they might both give you the exact same definition (to not be hot). But "cold" is generally used to mean colder then "chilly."

According to all the monk guides I read, I am a bad player. I am awful; I am horrible; however, because of heroes and henchmen, I don't have to care.

It's narrow minded idiots like you who drove the final nail in the coffin that is the PvE sin.
Edit:
come to think of it, it was you who killed the pug too. You can argue this and that about rhe death of pugs, but when it comes down to it, it was the elitism and general racist type actions that forced us to seek better options.(guild groups/henchies and heros) Sure there were bad players, but even with a few weak links, it was hard not to accomplish PvE objectives (there's just not much to them.)
