1. Ritualist - Just gotta loveeee making the monk jealous of your healing skills :P They're rather fun to play too.
2. Monk - Cause they're so cute ^_^
3. Ranger - Cause all the other classes are more boring that it.
If I'd answered this thing ages ago Elementalist would be at the top. But since I did everything on mine it got boring.

Mesmer. I wish I made one for PvE. Ritualist is getting boring. Channeling is underpowered outside of a few cookie cutter skills, crapping it spirits over and over is an incredibly mind numbing job only suitable for heroes, and no one likes to take resto rits over healing monks ever. The only unique role I like is WoR + VW.

1)Ranger
2)Rit
Oddly, both were Factions characters who I worked (roughly simultaneously) through Factions. Ranger went on to conquer both NF and Prophecies, while the Rit followed NF closely.
I've enjoyed the ranger greatly--something about sitting back and shooting away appeals to me.
The rit, with the spirits, healing, and spiking, is a different play for me. I worked as healer most of the way through Factions.
I think I most enjoy the flexibility of both classes.

ALL professions (except for the following):
Assassins (nerfed to hell)
Paragons (nerfed to hell/inert)
Necromancers (feeble primary)
Mesmers (feeble primary)
Ritualists (nerfed to hell)
Rangers (weak)
Dervish (weak)
Pretty much I'll play the holy trinity now! Warriors, Elementalists and Monks.

I believe in them being the most effective in-game professions. Sure the other professions are somewhat utile, but nothing beats the holy trinity, baby! Nothing!
You can do a team of nothing but them and win!
