@ Deaths: Did you search for this topis specifically to rez it? Have nothing better to do?

Anyway, don't think they're even considering this for GW2. And if they do introduce it, it more then likely won't be necessary to be a part of it. They would lose too much of their fan base if they made it manditory.

You wanna pk, go play something else. That's basically one of the fundamental reasons many people picked up Guild Wars - all the reasons it's not WoW/Runescape/othermmo's.

No, just do PvP. Besides, I tried some game a while back, dont remember its name, but i satrted out, levelled up a bit, then some guy kills me, no reason, i get respwned and the same guys is there, and he kills me again. I quit and unistalled it. Dont make GW like this. If i wanna be killed/kill other players, i go to arenas. I dont want to be doing a mission and worry about some SP 'sin killing me because I got a gold x.x

Four things are evident in this thread:
  1. My spanish and english need some work
  2. Guru posters prefer PvE and PvP to be completely separate
  3. Many people are afraid of PKing because of bad experiences in other games and perhaps GW.
  4. SuTiH's arrow is pointing in the wrong direction

Now, I enjoyed both PvE and PvP when I still played actively, though I'll admit that most of the time in PvE was due to failing to get enough people on long enough for any decent PvP. To me, mixing them both would make for a more enjoyable experience rather than taking a blue pill to go PvP then down a red pill and shoot up some weird subtance into your bloodstream to go PvE. I'm even more convinced because of the level cap, depth, and mechanics of GW versus the no-life all powerful model of other games. But I'm a minority in this, and that's fine.

Peace

^ yep i concur
Pking is pointlessly shit when the only successful players are the ones spending huge amounts of time in the game grinding.
But it does add a very interesting level of unpredictability, and as such, I think it makes High end areas, much more lucrative =].

Even the OP can't make an arguement without contradicting himself. Despite the various reasons why this would be good or bad, it simply isn't possible for GW1. The servers cannot handle anything but instanced environments. GW2, althought more expansive, probably won't be capable of anything that would allow multiple people in one zone, outside of specific missions/arenas.

I personally don't want griefing to be in GW or GW2.

griefing will always exist in GW and prob 2

PKing allthough i like the idea it should be

if the player is a gold scammer you may kill them no matter where they are, if they are a 55 bot they instantly die and get no drops.
