If it had some form of on/off toggle I would love the addition of it. also it would have to be for ppl only over a certain lvl (ex: lvl 10+ or so)

The whole idea would fail and the same people that would want it would fill guru with bitch posts. Would have to be like a flaging system because I can just see people being slaughted while afk at nine rings on a festival weekend.
As for Wow theres nothing original about it except the finger pupet looks.

It won't happen, but me n my buddies always would go on a wild pk killing spree in any mmorpg that let us, mostly newbies would become victim of this;D

From my 5 years of pk with runescape I can tell that Gw needs something orginial and not a copy/replica off of another game to keep the formula good. Jagex (Runescape makers.) sucked at pleasing players so in the end they killed their own pk. LOL

There are already ways to MK bad players in PvE. Extremely funny when done properly.
You're wasting your breath requesting this if GW2 will be instanced in the areas where PvE play actually occurs. Not much point to PK in a game like this as it stands. If you really want a 1v1 match, the guild hall and scrimmages are your friend.

With the exception of about four, most of the points against this (especially the last ones) are cretinous to a nauseating degree. If you can't argue a rational position please just say "Would not like/ Yes I would like (12char limit taken care of for you)."
Level does not matter in GW thanks to the cap system. Skill does. So that's a foolish stance to take. Didn't you buy the game because promoted skill over time? No wait, sorry, you bought it because it had no monthly fees - a free WoW. OK.
And apparently it's not obvious that towns do not allow for PK. Do not worry, thou shall be safe AFK on the nine rings. Please stop conjuring up images of other PK systems which must have left some of you emotionally scarred and applying them to GW. You have been playing long enough to know that GW does not work like that.

I doubt he's serious, but in GW, lil shits like this would get their ass handed to them as they have no grind advantage and most likely, no talent as well. In additional to providing a dynamic element to the game, the threat of PKing would keep these types of clowns in check. Unfortunately having PK to deal with greifers would be like placing guns in everyone's homes to protect them from crime or violence.
Sadly, that last point I made is actually against a PK system, but with all the rampant idiocy in the thread I felt like it was needed. With no thanks from most posters, I'm now of the opinion that PK in PvE would be more detrimental than beneficial, given the apparent fancy nancy playerbase. Looking forwad to GW2.

oh btw, if you go to a noob mission with a lvl20 MM character of yours, and bring 16 death magic, Verata's Aura, and Contemplation, I guarantee you can kill your teammates. Only thing is, you get no reward for doing it.

Yes, for the love of God, yes. Diablo 2 freaking sucked before they added the pk-tp blocking feature. It was sure instagib as soon as they went hostile.
The last thing we need is some high level player suddenly going hostile and camping the end of the mission, preventing an entire team of level 6 players from completing the quest because some moron thinks he's funny one-shotting you with 16 attribute spells and screaming "You suck pussy, I kill you" over and over and over again.
Sorry, I've already done that dance in other games. And you know what? It wasn't fun.
Face the facts, people. The only thing open PK systems were ever good for were griefing, and trash-talking duels. The former is only good for wimpy kids who try to make themselves feel strong by beating up smaller characters in online games, and the latter already exists in Random Arena.

i hated the aspect of diablo2 where some1 could just click hostile and instantly the friendly pve environemnt becomes chaos with portals opening and the game being ruined =/

I completely agree. It's fine that people don't want PK'ing in PVE, I completely understand that people don't want that aggravation. But some of the reasons people are giving are just retardedly ridiculous.
If PK'ing were allowed there would obviously be some safeguards and restrictions applied to them. If people want to disagree with something, at least know what you're disagreeing with instead of making up exaggerations.
And no, I don't think PK'ing should be in GW2 (as much as I would like it) since the majority of it's playerbase wouldnt like it, but SOME of you are just ridiculous.
