Default Unlucky for you... x3

Still my oppinion that Friday the 13th should become a standard Unlucky event.
It was discussed last Fri-13, but the idea still needs some... Growth.

Of course, it's not possible now with the current Friday dealing with something about Arenas and battles (or something), but ANet should think about it in the future.

Or something.

Discuss.

Guess it can't be too hard. So why not? As long as the boardwalk isn't open at the time!

Yeah, if april fools can be one then why not friday the 13th. Like That day only100 unlucky points if you break a lockpick. Or im sure they could get creative with something like that. But if they do it i would like to see something besides that happen. Like have a mask that whenever you wear it in a town you get knocked down in a town. Im pretty sure there are 2 or 3 fri 13ths in a year.

i would rather Anet concentrate on skill imbalance, improving trade, banning bots, doing something... anything... against leechers than coming up with designs, scripts, content for Unlucky day. No offence to you/your idea.

Unlucky Day:
All players lose 50% of their current gold and are given 5k.
All armor has a 10% chance to break when attacked.
All weapons have a 25% chance of shattering when used.
For every monster killed, 2 spawn, and you gain 5% DP.

I wonder how many people actually know the cause of the supposed "bad luck" of Friday 13th...

Hint: Go do research into the Knights Templar

EDIT-
Thought I would mention I am 100% against this - I hate everything that supports superstitious crap. I'm also not a big fan of the holidays - especially those related to Christianity (Halloween, Christmas, ect.), mostly because of how these holidays came about.

Come on. Being against religious crap is ok, I'm against it myself. But hell, it's a celebration, who cares why, just eat the food and have fun.

Lol. Sorry if the idea was a bit unclear.

I was thinking they could just make your character randomly fall down in Towns and Outposts.

Maybe even make a drop (like the Lucky Shamrocks) - like Black Cat Fur or something - that if you double click, you move 10% slower, have 5 less armor, and attack 10% slower, but adds 10 to your unlucky title and makes nearby foes fall down randomly? PvE only, of course.

Lol. Like I said: Not very well thought out. Just wanted to know everyone elses thoughts.

You guys aren't kidding when you say "unlucky day". It would definately make things interesting on Friday the 13th, especially if you forgot what day of the week it was.

No no.

You get one of those conditions every 3 minutes..lasting for 25 seconds while you are in a zone. PvP or PvE.

You need to make it balanced. Everything gets one of those, every 3 seconds, lasting 5 seconds.

Would be interesting for end-game environmental effects

No, it's unlucky, unlucky isn't balanced. It'd be only for one day anyways. Every 3 minutes on PCs and lasts for 25 seconds. No monsters get it because they don't need it, they're already easy enough.
