Traditional. First reason being I don't want to have to relearn skill descriptions. Second being I like all the info on the skill regardless of how "pointless" it may be.

dont see the point of this, the people that want less clutter like me I just turn skill descriptions off, the other camp who needs to know what they do probably want to know all the info, useless

nice to know you can completely talk for 1 million people by yourself.

Some of us don't like the fluff, but don't want to memorize every description and attribute setup point for point update for update.

I don't like stuff where it lists every condition (sans Cracked Armor) on Mend Condition, or missing part of Deep Wound on most of the C1 skills, or "you create a phoenix that", but I don't want to remember what 1000 some skills all do from 0-16 in their respective attributes either.

The concise descriptions now lack some info, but that is to be fixed later on.

Truth is that they are bette in many ways.

For example, all spirits now are like this:
Level, Duration, Effect, Special cases.
Without any more clutter.

Awww...somebody else said it first. Personally, if I were a game designer/programmer, this is what I'd be doing. Do we want this feature in the sequel? (i.e. option for long/short descriptions) Let's test it out in the old version of the game with live people first...
If people end up not liking it, they save time later by not putting it in and having to take it out.

But that's just my two cents

I switched, just to see what they were like and they're ok. Although a couple did look a bit truncated and 'Engrish'.

but i'd prefer if they made the conditions in a more clear font as that's more important. I was looking at disrupting throw and I think the most important peice of information about it is that it needs a condition but that was grayed out.

edit: my spelling + grammar sukz today..

This made me laugh. Please include this option along with a lolcat language option like Bork! Bork! Bork!

I still have mixed feelings about the new descriptions. I'll most likely revert to traditional, but the option is nice to have.

Traditional. Thats just the way I've been looking at skills for a long time. On the same note its also why I liked "I have Burning on me!" better than "I am suffering from the Burning condition!"

I like the new ones. They're not all that much shorter than the original ones, though.
