This is what I think Before the War with Abaddon The Gods and the first races of Tyria battle the evil anicent dragons for control of the world this battle shape most the of world of Tyria and ending with almost all the dragons being put to sleep by the gods.

Possible considering there where two gods before Abbadon had that power, and one prior to Grenth.

No there wasn't, the original six gods were:
Dwayna
Melandru
Balthazar
Dhuum
Lyssa
Abbadon
Then Dhuum was defeated by Grenth and lost his position as god of death.

Alas your wrong, read up on Abbie. I'm almost certain that there was a god before the god that Abbadon took him power from and either Kormir is the third god with the power she has now, or the fourth.

The Apostate: You may have wondered why I was being chased so vehemently by Abaddon's hunters, and I believe it is as simple as this: I do not believe Abaddon to be an eternal god. There were other gods before him, before he was imprisoned here. And I believe that while the power he uses cannot be destroyed, he maybe supplanted, as he supplanted his predecessor
Kormir and Grenth are proof that this is somewhat true.
Upon taking a look at Primordus again i saw that there are strange particles falling from him just behind the Great Destroyer along with something that looked like it was moving (cant confirm what it was due to me having to Leeroy into the Great Destroyer)

Firstly.... Cantha will apparently be shut off from the world in GW2 .... and secondly, the only significant Dragon on Shing Jea was coiled around a rock out at sea near the Crimson Skull base...... BUT....
.... There is an identical one on an identical rock just off-shore from Kaineng.
Admittedly.... the Drakkar of a certain lake, the dragon in the central transfer chamber..... and that bloody HUGE spiney one going through the Charr Homelands (clearly visible even on the map) are hardly subtle.
If anyone can find a dragon in the Ring of Fire islands, I'd like to hear about it.
I DO recall there being one sealed in the Jade Sea though.... for what it is worth.

I'm pretty sure its a Leviathan encased in Jade.
I doubt there are any Dragons resting in Cantha. The Dragons seem to be the story for Tyria whereas Cantha will have a seperate story.

I dunno. They don't call Cantha, the Dragon Empire for nothing.
Perhaps the Dragon in the Jade Sea is the mother of all Leviathans?

we cant rule out the possibility that there are ancient dragons in cantha. kuunavang was confirmed to be a minor dragon like glint. therefore its possible that other dragons could also be in cantha, though the only one that hasnt had its exact location confirmed is the deep sea dragon.

I think there was actually a more in-depth explanation - that she wanted to make sure she was only found by the worthy (ie the Ascended). Cuts back on visits from both pestering oracle-seekers and would-be dragonslayers.
Does make me wonder how the Destroyers managed to threaten her hatchling(s), though...
I gotta say that all of this info is making me crazy waiting for GW2. Its really interesting to hear all of this info about stuff and speculation. I think we can assume that there will be a larger map in GW2 that may bring Elona and Tyria together. not sure about cantha though. Could be an epic game. All the lore will make for an amazing story line that may be too amazing to really act out in any game. Im thining there will be one dragon or so per chapter.

*Sighs* You are not kidding me right? Seriously. That creature? Leviathan?
Also... Glint does not seem like it's brothers would be very formidable foes if indeed glint was part of the family of sleeping dragons.

Now I have a theory. I think Cantha will have its own dragons problems. Cause if you have not been to AB lately, saltspray beach, the very middle shrine. I mean, looks like a dragon and it could very well be an acient dragon, you know. Just a theory.

Yeah, formidable as the Leviathan of the deep is, I doubt its power rivals that of the ancient dragons. It may simply have grown to its present size because of the darkness of Kanaxai. Or maybe that is the size ALL leviathans are. If the latter is true, then how did it resist the taint of Kanaxai?
