The community automatically assumes that you are either on one side or the other, and those that think realistically are automatically assumed to be rich farmers, who want to stay. Sure, I am all up for more people being able to afford obsidian, but the idea of ecto being under 1k gives me a shudder, and it will be. Ecto is the best judge of the economy and if it is low the ecomy is low. Preferably I would like a few days with no drops in UW because people will be buying ecto and shard from people and material traders rather than farming it.

Ectos have been steady at 5.5k for almost 2 yrs. That means the ecto price was 5.5k about 1yr before scrolls, before the current favor system, and the price of ectos haven't lowered for more then maybe 30 mins a day. Shards have been steady about about 2k almost since it was just prophocies. Pay attention to little things like what the rare material trader's prices are & what people are buying and selling these for & you might realize this.

ps. if you want a reason why ectos aren't work 10k+ anymore, I have the real reason.....

Everyone that wants FoW armor has it, & since the only other use for ectos is Chaos gloves (which again, everyone that wants them has them) there's not a big demand for ectos anymore.

More players over time equalled more 55ers and more farmers...and more URSAN!!!

So yeah.

Also I think the drop rates are fine now, more merch food is always good, though in the areas we could do with more merchants (well in FoW it's okay the way it is, by the time you get Forgie to act as a merchant you generally only have one backpack full).

omg r u crazy they drop shit as it is ill do a run in UW and if im lucky ill get an ecto otherwise its all blue white and a few grapes with the rare rare rare gold r13 shit drop. so no dont make it even harder my god its hard enuff to get n-e-thing as it is.

ummm, did you suddenly have a brain fart or something and it scrambled your thinking? If so, dont let it happen again. No the drop rate should not be lowered. I can clear UW and FoW, a LOT of the times I come away with 1 or maybe 2 ecto, but most times I get 0. same goes for FoW and shards, so no.
