In all the areas such as Fissure of Woe or Underworld and Domain of Anguish The only thing people everwant is 5 ursans and 3 healers. I do not not have Gwen so when ever i get in a group i get kicked becauses im not an ursan making impossible for me to do everything even though i am usually better than ursans. Does anyone else experience this problem because it is very annoying.

all I have to say is: get gwen

Then you will have two options

1st. Go to FOW and UW with guildies with no Ursan

2nd Go UrsanWay

Yup, it's either PUG and ursan.
Or guild/friends and choose your own build.

No I do not experience this problem because I got Gwen, and am able to use Ursan.

Patience is a virtue. You are frustrated because Ursan groups form and go fast. I sit in ToA enough selling and standing around doing nothing to see groups forming all the time traditionally and in fact join many of them

Or you could read up on skills and find a hero/hench format that fits you. All missions are doable hero/hench with the exception of the elite dungeons.

edit** I heard this on a TV show once. "Your Net worth, is only as big as your Network". You obviously need a more active or larger sized guild.

Guild is your only answer. For the past few days we've been trying UW and we've had the worst luck to fill in our remaining spots with random people because either they're ursan or super n00b or just join and leave.

We have been using 4 heros and our job would be much easier if we had a couple more guys. The truth is people want fast clear of elite areas to get cash. (not that non-ursan is not fast and doesn't give cash)

For me sometimes, it's nearly impossible to find someone who wants to just have fun to play the game so heros are your friend.

edit: I have ursan but after using it in DoA I got sick of it and rather use paragons/ritualists/etc. instead of GLF r10 ursans

Play healer (I do the same). Monks doesnt need to be ursan.

I rarely used my monk, now I got 5mil xp on him.

I agree. The people now form groups so fast. People who want old school still lose hours there and the ursan guys annot you cause they are fast

I play healer a lot these days 'cause I'm tired of being Ursan... else you might wanna run with guildies, or find yourself a guild that doesn't use Ursan.

No, ursan is lame now because noobs think u need to be r10 ursan to do it and everyone wants people to have a "cons set" which i think is one of the 3 main consumable items that give you hp boosts and whatever. Fow/uw have been totally destroyed by this and now it's wicked hard to form groups. It's not about having gw:en, which i do have, its just pathetic.

^ ^ Noobs dont think you need to be R10. People arent running FoW for the statue in their HoM's. They want one of the new skins, and from what i hear in most groups is they want it badly. SO why settle when there's enough r10's.

You could always start your own party and choose to take ursans or not.
I'm tired of people complaining about ursan if they don't like it they don't have to use it or even party with those that do.

But if the problem is simply because you dont have GWEN I reccomend getting it Ursan is just one of its many great features.

If you can't play ursan you will need a guildteam... those are much better ( if you're in a good guild) than ursan PUGs.

The PUG is a single mind. The PUG act as one.
If you want to join the PUG, you must let yourself be assimilated by them.
PUG may be whimsical, fanciful, fussy.
So even if you fullfill the know requisites, they may reject you.

Solution? Forget about the PUG and get there with friends, guildies and allies.

They should care less about the PUG and more about... well... playing. If not... then they probably have been already assimilated by the PUG and you should forget about them... once the PUG assimilate players into their collective, it's is very hard to release them.

In other words. Ursan is not the proble, you and those you join with are the problem. I can say that since even when I have Norn rank 10 I barely use the Norn skill...
Maybe it's just that I'm an elementalist and we don't need those puny tricks to be overwhelming powerful. but I think that even the other 9 minor professions can do quite well without it.
